Think this simple montage Trailer was a good call. Start cranking out Cinematics and the Over-Hype machine will burn the game out before it even releases. On top of that, Courtney Draper's (Elizabeth) rendition of the 1907 Hymnal is freaking moving as hell. If there's a soundtrack released with the game I hope she's on it. While the Trailer only added very little in "new footage" it basically just reinforced what most folks already know. The game is going to be fairly amazing.
@DoctorSkot It's called Bioshock because the game, much like the previous two, features augmentations on a genetic, or Biological, level. Also, it features many of the same themes as the previous games. If all the first two Bioshocks only had to do with Rapture and not the events there-in and the effect on the people it would have been called Rapture 1 & 2. Bioshock is an over-encompassing theme. Also, there are *some* indications that this takes place in the same Universe, just way earlier.
@RogueScholarBlue Finaly someone talking sense. Im sick of reading all the comments of ppl moaning because its no longer in rapture. Wasnt it also destroyed at the end of BS2 anyway? If im not mistaken isnt the city in this game where Andrew Ryan originaly lived and is where he got his idea for creating Rapture?
@Legion563 As to Rapture being destroyed? No, not exactly. Most of the city was sunk into the great rift beneath the original rig used as Rapture's foundation. However, given the fantastical nature of the Bioshock Universe there's a good chance the city survived. As to Ryan's possible connection to Columbia? There are moments in the Original Gameplay Trailer where we see photos and paintings of a man that looks like Andrew Ryan, most assume it's his father. However, there's nothing concrete.
@RogueScholarBlue Yeah fair enough, i can't remember all that happend as it was awhile ago when i played it. It would be a shame though to lose rapture as a setting for a game as its such a unique setting but then again i would think (personaly) that having 3 games set in the same location would get abit repetative unless they maybe set the next BS game as a prologue just as the civil war begins, so you could see Rapture at its finest and the ensuing downfall. Time will tell :)
Love the soundtrack and great footage. Looks Epic. What with borderlands 2 and this looks like 2012 will e a good year

I like it when people take their time on making a game.....unlike COD.

@kardonization Infinity Ward: Oh shit we got 2 months left! What have we gotten done?
- Well we re-skinned all the guns, and added some explosions.
-Oh so were done?

Please don't force a GF on me in this game.... If she turns out evil or to be your sister that will only make it worse.

I kinda wish they'd release the full song like this. xD The game looks awesome, though.

This is actually a BioShock game? Looks totally different compared to the last 2 games.

@Gackt4awesome must be due to the lack of being under water and having more of a early American steam punk feel rather then a aquatic one

If it doesn't take place in Rapture, why even call it a Bioshock game?
DoctorSkot 2 months ago
@DoctorSkot it just uses the title for popularity. Which is good because I would hate to see this game go unnoticed

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Rejoice, as the overrated Bioshock franchise will probably bite the dust after this game :)
