Well, Hikari slapped Miyako because Miyako was panicking and she was pretty much killing all the hope of ever getting out of there. In a whim, she slapped her but instantly apologized.

Later on the Dark Ocean tried to take Hikari away again and she was going to give up fighting and so Miyako slapped her.

As far as i understand it yes, It is reflected in the fact that her center, her core is a constant conflict of half light half dark, while ether side is stronger it manifests it's self very powerfully, which is also why she is also called 'Queen' by many of the digimon, as in constant as the digital world, as powerful as a megalvl5.
