The Wii is far from a 'poweful' system and we've already gotten ports of both MHF1/MHF2 on the PSP which originate from MH and MH Dos on the PS2. They obviously dumb down the specs so it can be played on the PSP, which would also be possible for MH3 easily. Thing is there's no word on whether we'll get a port of MH3 or a whole new game entirely.

You must have not read my post properly. First of all any game the PSP gets that's multiplatform is dumbed-down to meet the PSP's specs and because it's not as powerful as real consoles like the Wii, 360 or PS3. I said we may and most likely will be getting a MH3 on the PSP someday, but whether it will be a PORT of MH Tri or a NEW GAME ENTIRELY DESIGNED FOR THE PSP is unknown as this point.

No you do not need to connect your PSP to PS3 to play the Monster Hunter Freedom 2 : Unite when it is released. You do need WIFI connection though. I know this because I own Monster Hunter: Portable 2 G, which is the Japanese version of Unite. Unite may have some differences from the Japanese, but for the most part it will be the same.

Actually, he's asking to play ONLINE if you need a PS3. Yes and no. You can either use Xlink Kai (though your PC) or you can use Ad-Hoc Party. Ad-Hoc Party is significantly easier to do if you own a PS3 already, but not worth buying a PS3 just for it, and XLink can be a real hassle to get working the first time.

No, actually, the Kurupekko used his flutesnoot or whatever, to mimic the cry of the rathian and call for its help to attack the hunters, as you can see it was attacking another 2-3 hunter when swooping down, possibly accidentally smashing into the Kurupekko afew times thats why you misunderstood.
