I have a russian sks with with a synthetic dragunov stock. have 4 30 roung mags. 2 metal and 2 synthetic cobra mags . no problemwith jamming or misfeeding with my mags like everyone says , they are just jelous cause they dont live in Texas like I do where it's legal. Go for the 30 rounders, just dont keep them loaded for too long.

What happen to the retaining pin for the rear bolt cover latch? It's not supposes to come out like that.

i haven had mine for a like 2 years but if i remember correctly i think that the one end you sitck into the gun had a piece of metel sticking out. so that when you turned it would get cought on the lip of the hole

What year/make is that russian SKS, bet it is a rearsenal. Beside reading the post, the stock is a big give way. Drop that plier to the gas tube latch. You don't want to leave tool marks where you don't want it, plus gas tube is pretty easy to take off by hand.

I just bought my yugo two days ago. I love the rich wood stock, All I'm going to do is rub some ployeurothane on it. I've read that Chinese sks's are better but I think its more personal preference. Have fun!

That is russian SKS. I got it from local gunshow. I had been looking for some russian's because they have nicer finish! btw thanks for your comment.
