  • I'm learning how to play violin one for this song ^_^

  • @TheLordDaedra awesome-- keep playing and practicing!

  • @xticey piece dear, piece

  • Beautiful, this brings me to tears every time. I love this piece so much that I even chose it for my Julliard performance.

  • you are extremely fortunate mbridal!!

  • I heard this piece in his church in venice...wow.....La Chiesa de Vivaldi...if in Venice you most attend!

  • bravo

  • Podoba mi się. Gdzie mogę zdobyć nuty?

  • .......and what base lines, eh!

  • OMG! This has been my favorite piece of classical for many years. It starts out so bold...i love to lay on the floor in the center of the surround speakers, close my eyes, and listen to this incredible piece...it takes me out. Makes me cry, it is SO beautiful. Great to see it played live!! You Tube, where have i been all your life??

  • @deewest11 Oh, don`t tell me... you want to migrate there... And I`m a racist.

  • @AmHaArez hey!! what's with the crap about being racist!!! I'll have you know that this is a free world now... have u just come out from the middle ages?? stop this racist comment crap and just enjoy the music... If you're a racist, I will ask god to put you smack in the middle of the new york harlem ghetto with a sign on your back which says " I'm a racist".....interesting to look at you when you come out.. just enjoy the music bro..

  • how long does it take to learn this peice?

  • depends on how good you are....maybe a week, or a month.

  • depending on how good your and how much you are willing to put forth shows in the end...

  • Two nice women playing such great music. This is so charming...

  • really really good job :)

  • If there was a god, his name would be Antonio Vivaldi! There's no doubting the musical genius of others like Bach, Handel, Beethoven, etc. but Vivaldi created the most beautiful language ever communicated from one human to another. Even the deaf appreciate his music (yes...they feel the vibrations and are particularly moved by music). May humanity forever appreciate and love Vivaldi's compositions! Words cannot begin to describe the immensity of how profoundly Vivaldi's music speaks to us!

  • There's one very important name missing, Mozart. Love him or hate him, he accomplished miracles unlike any other.

  • Bach would probably disagree with you. Theres a reason he never published the piece.

  • Bach must have thought highly of the piece since he did an arrangement for organ.

  • lol "If there was a god"

  • Actually, Vivaldi was a priest in the Catholic Church. They called him the "priest in red"

  • Or, in Italian, Il Prete Rosso (which translates into The Red Priest)

  • Very nice indeed, just a little tad too fast for my liking.

  • amzing!

  • Wow it's an awesome performance of this concerto! I love this piece and love this video too!

  • i love this piece so much !!

  • i played this for my solo and ensemble :D it was cool

  • This is Vivaldi's l'estro armonico concerto 8, op. 3, first movement. Just to identify it.

  • are they twins?? they're awesome! i'm soooo jealoussssss

  • they are not twins. you can be jealouss!! ;)

  • Absolument remarquable. Bravo !

  • I think it would be better if they all had coordianting outfits.....otherwise amazing!!

  • LMAO....

    Indeed... What a ridiculous comment!

  • oops commented wrong vid sorry!

  • Playing this at my ochestra at the moment. Man, I'd kill to be one of the soloists.

  • nice song and good orchesta

  • It's not a song if you didn't notice, it's Vivaldi's concerto for two violins.

  • Oh please. No need to start an arguement.

  • @MasterArbiterGrunt : Only when you can spell the word 'argument' correctly shall we begin !

  • A little fast but beautiful!

  • frumos :x bravo :D

  • Is it just me or is there a lot of dragging in this piece between the soloists and between the soloists and the orchestra?

  • sigh...the community of youtube... i bet someone will start arguing with me for no reason any minuet now... common, i challenge somebody to fight me.......the way that video was sweet..

  • ziggy from xenosaga?

  • ziggy from 4voice

  • see it sounds like the recording i have on my ipod. im not sure who does the version on my ipod though...

but this sounds quite amazing. in some sections it sounds like it's rushing but not really dramatically.

  • Yes, it sometimes could trick you into thinking that it is playing fast. The original copies the fast version.

  • I know this piece has another name: "Double Violin Concerto in a minor." It is found in the movie of "Un Prince a Venise." Isn't it a wonderful Vivaldi work which is pleasant to the ears?

  • i read a book with this song i didnt know it was this pretty :)

  • Our orchestra played this for our winter concert! It's an amazing song!

  • la minore , A minor ?

  • haha im playing this with my orchestra i got the first soloo :D

this is reallllly mega good :)

  • Brillantes manos femeninas para interpretar una de las más hermosas piezas de Vivaldi.

  • a bit too fast

  • "a bit too fast" Is it? Is it? Idiot. What are you a walking, eating, breathing metronome?!?!

This is beautiful and you have to come a defecate all over it.

I think you should be doing better things with your time than coming on youtube to criticize other people...(eventhough that is slightly hipocritical of me, but hey)

    enjoy the music!

    x

  • I came to thie video to listen to a fabulous peice of music and to read a smart allec comment just infuriated me.

Yes, you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that, but try adding in a word of good will next time.

    x

  • who do think you are?...first you criticize this video like youre someone important, then you start insulting people..who are you again?..oh thats right..a nobody..idiot..i appologize to everyone else..please enjoy the music. i just thought i should put this moron in his place..bye now:)

  • This makes me laugh. You guys are having an insane argument - not about the video, not about the music, but just about what some guy said . Does everything have to turn into a debate about 'what he/she said'?

  • sometimes its just really annoying when some jackass comes on here and claims to be an expert...normally, it doesnt piss me off; but when this guy wrote this?>..(jewish1972- listen, swine. How dare you speak to me like that? When i say "a bit too fast" means a bit too fast, & that is God´s word. So go & fuck your mother, that has been so imbecil to bring to this world a piece of shit like you!).c'mon..makes you wonder what kind of serious problems someone has to have to lash out on a stranger

  • Ignore Permia. I myself find most performances only "a bit too fast," and that's not very much, is it? Anyone can listen to 'pretty music' at any tempo and imagine that it is good simply because the performance exceeds their comprehension and ability, but such is not ground for good judgment. Few can actually extract something from a slow tempo or require time to savor the music--there is listening and then there is _listening_, no?

  • sehr schön =)

    ##Ώ@

  • Glad you posted this! I'm playing second violin for this in my quartet... We have a wedding to play this summer and it's nice to have something for reference or to play along to when the others can't practice with me.

  • omg i'm playing this song in my chamber orchestra

  • 1. why should you insult people you don't know, and who share with you the love for music?

    2. Bach didn't attend Vivaldi's concerts. He studied Vivaldi's early violin concertos (Estro Armonico op. 3 especially, and La Stavaganza, op. 4), and transcribed them for piano (see BWV 972, 975, 978 etc). This contact with Italian music in the years before 1714 had a great role in the shaping of Bach's personal style.

  • u should no better

if u r not sure u dont write false facts about it

bcuz other people will be confused

    and yes bach did

if u r not sure research

bach walked miles and miles just to hear vivaldi's work

    get it straight

    mmk?

  • hey thanks for posting i sat at my computer playing along, preparing for the concerto night at my school!

  • My brother play it in high school

  • oh! it is so great, I love Vivaldi!!

  • I played this!

  • me to

  • can someone please give me the pdf for this

  • can someone please give me the pdf for this

  • sounds great in playin this piece now

  • Vivaldi was the original composer. Bach went to hear the piece. Then he went home and said. I remember every single note. I think I'll write down every single note that Vivaldi wrote, but notate it so that it can be played on the organ. Bach never composed this piece. He only transcribed it, in other words copied it note for note. Look up "transcribe" and "compose" in the dictionary.

  • this is written by Vivaldi

  • wow how stupid can you get?

    its by vivaldi honestly

bach only wrote only like 4 works for violin

(the A and E minor concerto, the double concerto, and the trio)

  • Bach did however transcribe this concerto for Organ. He did this for Prince Johann Ernst of Weimar

  • i love this piece!!... great perfomance

  • Wah ...That's just wonderful ..

    Meraviglioso

  • other two mvts?

  • this is very wonderful. calming on the senses ^_^ Vivaldi has that effect on me... well any well played classical has that effect on me.

  • Es algo sencillamente magico, lo que se siente al escuchar una pieza de vivaldi bien tocada. este es una de ellas, saludos de Colombia.

  • baroque music all the way!

  • Nice looking gals...

  • I like this one^-^

    Wonderfully melody...Σ

  • poly oreo! bravo

  • this sounds like a song we played in orch except a mucho harder version... it also sounds like the one song from suzuki book 4... anyway very good

  • There is a simplified version of this piece in the suzuki book.

  • I don't think there is...I know in book four there are movements for his solo violin concerto in A minor - but this is a concerto for two violins in A minor.

    I think, at least.

  • It also may sound like it at tines becomes Vivaldi as a composer was a borower. What he used in one sonata could appear in another concerto - so it's easy to see how the two A minor concerto's could be very, very similar. I'm guessing this because I've played both the suzuki part and this concerto for two violins. =] I personally like this more.

Oh, and they play this very, very well:]

  • There are some passages that are very similar for sure.

I could be wrong about the suzuki book thing. I don't use that book, I'm just reiterating what someone told me.

  • when you say borrower, you should clarify that mainly he borrowed from his own works, often due to unreasonable deadlines or a commission he just didn't really care that much about.

  • This is one of my favorite concertos written by vivaldi.

  • Excellent Performances!!!

    Who are these people?

    Anybody knows...Two Violinist & Chamber's Name??

  • they are from Romania, very good! Solo: Corina Marc, Delia Cimpeanu - class prof Nicolae Victoria, Flueras Titus

Chamber orchestra "LIUTARIA" manage by Titus Flueras - concert-maestro

It seemed you know them pretty well.

Do they have any agent that I could contact with?

  • you should contact ftitus, who posted the videos,he also is the manager of this orch.;you could send a message to him and ask for detailes..

  • hmm it sounds nice..

  • well done! love it!
