  • Alot of respect for Randy a true legend in the sport Came into the sport at the age of 34

  • i thought this was ment to be e highlight video right now it looks like a love flick and randy is waaayyyyy too overated

  • definitely one of my favorite fighters of all time

  • Many sports have old timers, many sports have class, many sports have amazing champions, many sports have that guy that sparks inspiration. MMA has that guy all wrapped in one, and no other sport has that. Randy is the man "the man" wished he could be

  • i dont give a shit what people say hes the best ever, to hold the ufc heavyweight title at 46 and defend it is insane he has had the title 7 times and defended it 3 times. you are an absolute legend randy couture. oh and good luck against machida even though hes 19 years younger than you please dont lose im going to put some serious money on that fight. GOOD LUCK CAPTIN AMERICA

  • Randy is simple the best there is. He has a lot of class.

  • Any know what kind off dog that is?

  • not bad for an old guy huh?

    no not bad at all.

  • RIP Randy Couture.

  • 47 years old and still pounding on people.

  • it would of been amazing to see Couture fought when he was 25-31

  • no cmment best fighter ever

  • the best fight on earth would be randy couture vs don frye thumbs up if this is true

  • man that was a bad break from gonzaga's monster kick.. nd he still kept fighting. fucking amazing

  • funny how some of the meanest toughest people on this shit hole of a planet , bas rutten, chuck liddle and of course randy couture to name but only a few seem like the most humble and gracious people. pretty cool i think.

    peace and positive vibrations.

  • He damn sure looks like a fighter anyway! awnry mean looking son ofa bitch!

  • I think he's a really nice guy...

  • best fighter of all time

  • randy at his best would beat any fighter put in front of him

  • Randy i wouldnt say he has the most physical ability but i will say he has the best planning and strategy and brains always prevails over brawn ;)

  • RANDY FOR PRESIDENT

  • im just curious, but what happened to his ears, were they all ways like that or because of an accident?

  • @Chrees529

his ears are a condition called cauliflower ear. It is simply cartridge damage. it is very common among amateur wrestlers and boxers. They actually see it as trophies for years of competing in such grueling sports.

  • @benl7217 not just amatuer wrestlers. ive wrestled since 3rd grade and im junior year in college at iowa. i have cauliflower ear. and bowers dont have it. its mostly ground martial arts like bjj or wrestling

  • @imscottish1 amateur wrestling is the same style you are describing. It is considered folkstyle, freestyle or greco-roman. Pretty much just not the WWE or formally WWF fake stuff. Props to Iowa wrestling

  • @imscottish1 hi sorry not wanting to get into a youtube argument but boxers can get cauliflower ear mate as can rugby players, your correct in thinking it's more common with grapplers though

  • @imscottish1 Boxers absolutely get cauliflower ear. All it takes is one grazed punch to aggravate the cartilage to the point of swelling which, when not drained properly, leads to scarring (cauliflower ear). It just happens to be that it is easier to damage it when rubbing against a gi or other person's skin, but boxers 100% get this.

  • @imscottish1 Boxers got it too, but it takes longer to grow.

  • @imscottish1 boxers do have it. same hing happens from getting punched in the ear

  • @Chrees529

Rugby players get it too, the forwards in particular can get their ear beaten and ripped in scrums and packs

  • @Chrees529 u idiiot

  • @Chrees529 thats cauliflower ear. it happens to fighters especially wrestler. its from the ears getting grinded and bashed in training. blood builds up under the skin and dries

  • 1:26 HOLY SHIT !!! is that the kick from gonzaga that broke his arm !! it's in two seperate pieces !! and he kept on fighting, AND WON !!!

    Respect ! :)

  • Maybe he is older but still one fo 4 best fighters in the world.

  • Randy is always an underdog. I think for him fighting at an old age is better for him. It gives him a chance to use all of his past experience and knowledge such as his military backround and wrestling skills against these younger guys who come in the league looking to be stars right away. And i'll tell yas one thing.....Randy at his best would BEAT brock lesnar.

  • @TommyCage0736 Yes, he would DEMOLISH him.

  • millitary veteran, college wrestler, greco roman wold renowned wrestler and mma hall of famer. that is one resume of bad assness

  • randy is my hero

  • Dude I dont Doubt that. I'm talking about recent fights.

  • randy has so much heart, true fighter and hero

  • Well so what if Liyoto uses Karate Cung Le uses Sanda. Its not the Art its the Fighter. Dan Henderson is Native american but he uses Wrestling not Native American Martial arts. Hey Masato from K1 uses KIckboxing Am I right? Its just that Japan always dissapoints me when it comes to MMA. So quit deluding yourself. Until I see a good Japanese Fighter I will not promote Japan so much.

  • TK did not defeat Fedor. Did you even watch the fight? He was lucky with that NC. Oh I dont doubt Karate or Jiu Jitsu I'm partial to Karate myself but Man your fighters are pretty bad. Sakuraba was one of my fave but he fizzled out. Enson is not Japanese my friend plus that guy had tons of lossess lately. Yushin Okami also Dissapointed me again so as Sexiyama.

  • Japanese Fighters are proven not to be good. Not even in Pride. Every Time a Jap leaves the cuntry and fights abroad they get pwnd by the locals. Inoue is not Japanese he is Hawaiian. So Nipper please....

  • thats pretty accurate

i mean i have tons of respect for japanese fighters but they have been seen to do very well

    lately anyways

back bout 10 yrs ago they were the shit but idk wat happened in the land of the rising sun

  • az6679 ur Gay Just For Makinq That Gay Ass Comment

  • Comment removed

  • hes a great fight i would like to see him move down to light heavy and compete there again

  • he is gonna fight brandon vera at 205..

  • The thing I like the most about Randy is that he Served in the Military. him kicking ass in the UFC is a Plus, shit I got all teary eyed watching this video.

  • he has what it takes to come back and beat lesnar.

    he will do it

  • ur so right

    not counting frank mir

hes the only one who actually gave big brock sum trouble

he's a man to truly look up to

  • fyi frank mir is a dick

    jus puttin dat out their

  • @AceFallen as much as i respect randy and he is my favorite mma fighter, there is no way in hell that hes going to do that, he clearly lost to brandon vera but judges gave it to him and coleman is just a pair of saggy titties, lesner is just way to big and strong and to beat him couture has ro pack on a lot of weight

  • @MrApeShitt vera did not beat couture. your fucking blind. he out worked him and controlled that fight the whole way through. sorry to say this but your a fucking moron if you honestly think he lost.

  • @SPARTONmAn umm are you on fuking crackk or are you juust that ignorant i hate vera but he clearly did more damage than coututre coututre controled him the whole time but didnt do shit to him if i remember correctly he kicked him in the ribs twice once so hard that he actually fell so stfuuuu and you are the fucking moron

  • @MrApeShitt it doesnt matter that he hurt him. he didnt beat him. randy beat him by doing what it takes to win a ufc fight. yea he hurt him bad but he didnt win.

  • @MrApeShitt The first time I watched the fight I thought he lost to. But if yo go back and rewatch the fight Vera didn't do anything. Yes he landed 2 strikes that hurt Couture but that is it. Couture controlled the round 1. Controlled round 2 xcept for the 2 strikes and the time it took to recover. Controlled the round after he recovered. Controlled most of the third round. Landing 2 strikes doesn't qualify as winning a fight.

  • @AceFallen beat lesnar ?! you pathetic joke ! brock kill this ciown and kill him again !

  • a true living legend

  • Great vid keep them coming. What a champion

  • What a true champion!!! Warrior through and through. In my books the best mma fighter to have walked the planet. To be that fit in your forties and still going strong and pushing yourself day in day out, that takes an incredible mind set that only a few have. Would love to have the chance to train and be taught be him. What an ambassador for the sport. Also does anyone know why he isn't in UFC 2009 undisputed???

  • all i got to say is its wonderful to find someone else with as much admiration 4 captain america as me

i love randy couture my favorite mma fighter hands down n dont give a shit what anyone else say

idc what happend at ufc 91

he will always remain a champion in my eyes

  • I asked the exact same thing when my mate bought the game. I said that I dibs Couture and he said he wasn't on it.

  • hes in the new mma one

  • noble warrior

  • werd brother

    thats motherfucking captain AMERICA son

He is the reason I started training in MMA

    as you said

    A Noble Warrior

too few people like that left in the world

  • whats ur name and when can i see u fight

  • Did he ever fight Fedor?

  • no.

  • i wish that would be the greatest MMA fight between the original best there was and prolly ever will be

  • He wanted to but they never got the contract signed because Fedor fights for a different MMA place

  • he's inspiring to me

  • If we could have a 35 year old Randy Couture vs a 35 year old Fedor Emelianko nothing in MMA could ever top that fight.

  • that would be an unreal fight for the ages

  • yeah but the thing is couture has gotten better with age so instead i would rether take at the moment couture vs fedor now

  • Couture in his prime was a BEAST

It would have been something else to see him fight Fedor in his prime

it would have been a fight for the ages.

    Couture and Fedor

    GOAT

  • Couture = Fighting legend

  • explosions in the sky " a slow dance"

  • yeah he really is the captain america... but not only the usa but also the rest of the american continent! i mean im from guatemala and a lot of people here love the guy!!

  • whats happened to his ears? they look like they were burnt down...wanderlei silva too...

  • I followed Randy as much as i could (Respected highly) The true Captain America... Yea, he lost against Lesnar, but a hero in my book. I wish i look that good at 45 years of age. I have nothing against Lesnar (i wish him the best) he seems very respectful... But to you randy ( Thanx for the Great Years Of Fighting) And thanx for the tribute bro (well made vid.) :-)

  • It wont be the end of him trust me. Randy declared his desire to keep fighting. He stated that he felt like he was still becoming a better fighter and blamed his loss on a bad performance; not his age.

  • Thats the reply i've been wanting to hear, you made my day bro :-) Maybe a re-match in the short future???

  • Randy Cotoure- he was captian america, if we can only see another fighter as lion-hearted and tenecious as him agian. Aslo first person to hold both hw and lhw titles. plus many notable wins

  • he broke his arm?

  • Randy is my hero, Explosions in the sky one of my favourite bands, cool stuff dude :)

  • Good job Mate !! I hope that Randy kick Lesnar ass in first round ;)
