the technique he uses at :47 and onwards consists of a down stroke of one chord and upstroke on another chord in perfectly fluid succession. i've never seen anyone play guitar with so many innovative techniques and not sound like garbage. it's almost as if he hides his technicality for the sake of the music... and whatever he does blows me a way.
