This is the problem with wanting to sing at a young age. Don't get me wrong, kids can be fantastic singers, such as Shaheen, but, puberty strikes and bam! You're a completely different person.

The same thing happened to me; I'm 16 years old. I was a boy soprano and then my voice broke (started changing). Now I can only sing in my chest voice from d2-f4 (although i can sing up to a c6 from falsetto to whistle) -- it's actually quite frustrating going through these changes. He'll get better as he gets use to his new voice (he's still early in this stage), such as I am myself. Honestly, I'm just relieved to know I'm not the only one going through such drastic changes.

His voice is going through that change, and its to be expected. It was the same with Michael Jackson at the time of "Off The Wall". I hope Shaheen is being nurtured patiently though this change without the Cowell-esque pressure to sell zillions of records. Only that way will his Voice be allowed to grow from the child to the man. his voice has turned into that legendary classic sound quality of some of the best real crooners from back in the day. His voice will actuually change a few more times and it will just get more diversified as he gets older. this is what he was born to do. Justin Beiber's also undergoing puberty. He could not reach high notes now as flawless as before. This is one of the disadvantages of guys in terms of singing. Girls doesn't have this kind of change in voice (well, it depends).
