What a 'blast from the past'! I watched this on "The Cher Show" in Feb. '75! Now 36 years later I am seeing it again! Who would ever of thought that in 2011 we would be watching - and enjoying - a duet from these 2 of 'Bennie and the Jets'! Not me! But we are! This comes from a time when Elton had LESS hair & Cher had just split from Sonny & had just gotten her own variety show on CBS. A great performance & great memories!

@jalabi99 They're both still going strong. To make it even 10 years in music is a tremendous accomplishment due to changing tastes. Only the truly greats make it through the ages. Elton is 63 and shows no signs of slowing down even though he's worth $500 million and could live the rest of his life just enjoying himself. To continue playing his music he has proven that it's what he really loves doing. Actually, he would probably go nuts if he stopped playing. We all should be so lucky :-)
