The other two characters you play in Co- Op Mode are two Elites, one red, and one blue. Now to play Co-Op online you simply make a room, and set it for Campaign. Then simply send your friends a invite over Xbox Live. If you don't have Xbox live you will need to sign your Xbox Controllers into a Xbox profile or make them play as guests of your main account.

Hey i cant find out how to play online co-op with my friends can any body tell me? i kno i need x-box live but i dont kno how to set it up. it might sound stupid but i dont know how.

idk i havent been online on halo in a while but maybe u jus go into the online lobby but dont load any rooms.

then invite him 2 ur party

then in menus where u can pick wat kind of online match u wanna play, press campiagn

or jus go into the campaign screen, connect to xbox live, and invite him (or vice versa)

either that or tell him to do it and invite u
