I feel that this movie is good, it reflects how the younger generations could be ungrateful, and forget about how our parents raised us with the meagre income they earn.
Its really saddening to know that these unfortunate senior citizens actually exist, and they cry in silence, without anyone to share their pain with.
I hope that when people watch this movie, they will come to their senses, and also remind themselfs not to ever commit this mistake, no point regretting when they're dead
Frankly speaking, you've got a point but times have changed and there is no right or wrong in this, because they themselves need to work and take care of their own families which is already very tiring and stressful! It is not exactly that they wanna be ungrateful or forget their elderly parents' raising, instead they sometimes really have no choice, but to either entrust them to their siblings (which they might up being kicked around like a soccer ball) or send them to the old folks' home...
ur rong pendra we muz take care of our parents because THEY themselves took care of us.....taking them to the old folk's home is just like sending ur own child to an orphanage.....ur lucky that ur parents didn't abandon you at the orphanage.....

u urself are a burden to ur children when u are old and to ur parents when you are young too.....as u r growing old n ur children hav babies,would u like it if ur children send u to the old folk's home?
What do you suggest then? (By the way, an orphanage is for children who have no parents because they died etc, should be Boys/Girls' Home to be exact if you wanna put it) I also don't encourage the sending of elderly parents to old folks' home, i'm just trying to speak up for both parties, so don't talk to me like that... =)

this song made me streak my makeup while watching the movie.I can scarcely comprehend the string of dialect and was reading the subtitles.
Yet, i couldn't stop crying. I was reminded of my grandmother and the immense suffering she went through as she struggled with dementia for several years before she died.
While the cinema was laughing at the grandmother's repetitive questions that drove her sons mad, I was weeping because I watched my Mama wither with each phase depicted in the movie. =(
