@aerozg the background is negative space and the objects such as the faces/man/tree etc. are positive space, sometimes you can have areas of negative space in positive space and these can over lap. Such as a table with objects against a wall. the wall is the main negative space and the table and objects are positive- but the area on the table surrounding the objects becomes negative space to them.
So what is Foreground and Background then? Is Foreground the Positive space and Background the Negative space?
