  • One more of your beautyfull things. Thanks for sharing! I just wonder: that big musical note stamp, what did you say is the name of the producer? "Impression of session"? Looking forward to your next video!

    Hugs from Norway

  • @guha88 That big musical note stamp is from a company called "Impression Obsession" and their stamps are AWESOME!!! They have such detailed and intricate carving the the red rubber looks flat on some of them, but then you stamp it and WOW!!! That particular stamp is called "Cover-a-Card Music" and it's one of my favorites.

  • Love this idea!!! sooo pretty! love it! TFS!! Jules:)

  • that is wonderful. I love it.

  • Great idea! It would be a nice centerpiece. TFS :)

  • Very classy look, Kathryn. 100?? Were you folding pentagons in your sleep ;)

  • @roxyfur I owe these centerpieces largely to my PS3 and Netflix Instant Queue, without which I surely would have gone insane from star-folding boredom long before I have enough to fill the vases. :D

  • @desdichaedo Ha! I'd already pictured the recliner and remote ;)

  • Very creative!!

  • Very pretty centerpieces, thanks for sharing.

  • great colors

  • Thanks for giving a video of how to make the pottery barn stars. I've seen written instructions but for something with that many folds it's better to see it being done.

  • Love this idea!!!! thank you for showing us!! :)

  • Great idea! Love your vases!

  • @Bcreative101 I think it would be awesome for the July 4th, with flags sticking out of the top! Yeah! I need to see if there is a quick & easy origami heart to do something similar for Valentine's Day.

  • love this idea..thanks for sharing it...I am going to do it for the new year but on the inside ( not stamped side) i am going to write a wish the paper

  • @uglybobswife Thanks so much! I love your idea of writing a message inside the paper. I am thinking about making some larger ones with little strip of paper sort of hanging out of some of them {sort of like a fortune cookie} with a greeting to put by each person's plate for Christmas dinner. They're so fun to play around with!

  • How wonderful this looks...cute stars! TFS!

  • Loved it! TFS I will try these, they're adorable!

  • It's perfect and soooo cute!!!

  • That is a really cool idea. I can see using those starts for a bunch of different projects. I'll have to give them a try. JIL

  • Holy cow! You've been busy making stars. Gorgeous vases. Love the colors you went with. Very classic colors and they can be displayed all year. "Crimped Pac Man"...love the description! Ok...I want the 2nd vase with the light blue flower. :)

  • Beautiful project! TFS! Question: I've never seen a hot glue gun like that - would you share where you got it?

  • @imjyfl That is the "Ultimate Glue Gun" by Aleene's. It came in a case with a variety of interchangeable nozzles. The nozzle that I have on it is the fine tip, which is awesome for scrapbooking. I received it as a gift, but it is widely available online from places like Amazon and whatnot.

  • Love your work.

    Love the paper stars too.

  • Beautiful job! Love the stars! You've got a lot of patience to make all of them but well worth it! What kind of glue gun are you using? Love the idea! TFS!

  • Love the paper stars!!!

  • 100 stars? That is commitment! Such a cute idea! I see a few stars in my future! LOL...TFS

  • They are gorgeous, what a wonderful idea, I will have to try although I think I will fill my vases with sweets and chocolate for Christmas....not that they will be full for long!

  • @MsSuziek3 It is a great idea to fill your vases and vessels with chocolates for the holidays. You could always have the stars on standby to refill them after the chocolate gets snagged ~ lol! Chocolate doesn't seem to last long during the holidays.

  • One of my favorite Christmas tutorials! You certainly do a great job of explaining, Kathryn! TFS

  • This is one of the best projects for the holidays. TFS. I hade to make them right away after watching your Ustream show on Monday so I have a whole punch in vases around my house now. My son thought they were pretty cool too.

  • hey where can i get that music stamp at im loving that!!!!!!!!!!!! btw your centerpiece is awesome!!!

  • @joic81 The manufacturer of the stamp is Impression Obsession. I got the stamp from the online store scrapyland . com, but the manufacturer also sells the stamps directly on their website.

  • **TFS** so super cute***

  • That is SUPER cute Kathryn!! Love the way you decorated the vases and those starts are adorable!!! YES after the madness of the holidays we all really need to get together again!!! Hugs, T

  • OMG Kathryn you are so damned talented girl. I just love this and such beautiful decor for the christmas period and beyond. This is going to my favs lol. I may as well just have a Kathryn fav file hehehehe.

    Hugs
