I just read in a Tommy Bolin bio that Glenn Hughes sang this track -- he wasn't allowed to be credited due to contractual issues. Very cool though. Glenn is great, and I absolutely LOVE Tommy Bolin. Amazing musician.
@jdarrah17 Agree with pretty much everything, but I'm pretty sure this is Tommy singing. They did play together in Deep Purple, but you can't mistake Tommy.
@triplettam As you can hear it's Tommy Bolin mostly singing through the track but in the end Glenn Hughes sings for a few seconds, which is the greatest part in the song imo :)
@Zedice I dont think its the greatest part A few Seconds?? Tommy is my man I will know his voice in heaven and follow it I was his fan club president and this happens to be my favourite song.
@tarasbooty Awsome post and your words warmed my heart. I met Tommy once in Denver with Barry Fey of Feyline productions, and at 50 years old it is still one of my fondest memories. Tommies playing influenced every lick I know and play.....
@triplettam - Yeah, you're right, it's clearly Tommy. I don't know what I was smokin' when I wrote my last comment, haha!! You can tell that Tommy voice anywhere!! I'm with Zedice (and you) on this -- Glenn Hughes sings in some places, especially at the end, but you are correct, the overall vocal line is Tommy for sure. I do know though that Glenn was not allowed to be credited.
@jdarrah17 Yeah, I knew that's what you meant. There's no mistaking Tommy, and I remember there were a lot of good folks on this album (Prairie Prince, Michael Walden). I'm just glad people remember Tommy. Like Jimi, he was going to do some really great things had he lived.
@jdarrah17 Yeah you really know when Tommy sings, I noticed that Tommy sings in 1 part of the song Dealer on the Come Taste The Band album (which is a great album) - Definitely one of the best singer/guitarist in my opinion - he's so unique.
Great song man! I will always dig this jam. He died way too soon. Fuck off Barry Fey for killing such a wonderful young man. I wonder how many other young artists died or became strung out with the help from Barry and his drugs.
one of my favorites from a great musician... what could have been... miss your talent.

@tarasbooty Of course the song is extremely good all of it, but when Hughes sings is the favourite part of the song for me.
