It's incredible how many people watch absolute shit like Grey's Anatomy or Two and a Half Men on a regular basis but have never even heard of this show. Probably better off that way though.

this by far was one of the greats in t.v. series. this wasn't just a cop series or a drug dealer rise and fall but a complete package of all walks of life. the good, the bad, the rich, the po', the teacher that wants to make a difference to the bad ass student. this series will be missed. great team of writers, producers,and actors.

iwas gutted wen omar got popped like the way he did he shuda gone out gunz blazin i think a lot of ppl disliked marlos crew but that was the idea still some had likable attributes this still had more length in it tho , i read the book the district plus seen the corner and there are a lot of simularities here and there just my thought on an amazing piece of tv history

I just can´t believe how could I missed this show completely before (maybe cos I was 10 years old when it started), but without regards I can admit this was/is the best drama (and I usually hate cop series- all the CSI, L and O, 24).

So good I find myself dreaming in their vanacular. Being a female, middle aged elementary school educator, I find it confusing but funny that I dream with Omar's voice and language. Truly the best series in a long while. I too cannot stand Snoop. I just want to kick her in the taco. Is that wrong?
