He had just kind of out grown it. Wrote this song about 10 years before Born in the USA. He still peforms it live sometimes, unlike BOrn in the USA, which he never plays anymore.

This was a great surprise when I saw this concert (on DVD, of course), and it was really fun! Almost as big a surprise as in Rochester.
