Does anyone know where i can buy wild veg seeds, i've tried ebay without much luck ?

  • Great vid! I studied Permaculture Design with Mike, he truly is a marvel.

  • where is the wisdom in growing and eating healthy and then smoking?????????

  • @silversunflower2525 As an agricultural "worker" he's getting exposed to a lot of endotoxins which will nullify any lung cancer effects from the cigarettes. I understand what you mean though, perhaps it also helps with his sanity as he stated.

  • This old codger is my new hero.

  • Love the crazy hair :)

  • 0.12 - ahahhaha - fantastic!...."Bristol's own permaculture guru" your not kidding!! he's like a walking talking encyclopedia! bloody marvelous

  • What a wonderful man.

  • Excellent!! Love the hair. I am currently buying a little house with 6000sqm of land and cant wait to get stuck in!!!

    Thanks for the great vid!

  • Awesome hair! Great to see passionate people growing their own food sustainably, and teaching others too! I live in subtropical qld, and use cardboard here too, but not as a top layer, or the rain washes off it here, I use a layer of mulch on top. Love the idea of the tilted beds for maximum sunlight.

  • i love that guy!

  • He is fantastic!!!! I wish he was in the allotment next to mine :-)

  • Any sea buckthorn yet? Otherwise awesome, and by the way thanks for coming to teach us down in Penzance a bit more- your foreign expedition slides were very inspiring. Best Wishes and keep up the good work :>)

  • That was fantastic!

Corrugated cardboard is great in the garden, as well as the benefits that Mike mentioned, soil creatures love the starchy glues which bind the sheets together and generally the cardboard is dye-free.

Newspaper/magazine print is like "white bread" but cardboard is like "multi-grain"! :)

  • Is the poached egg plant edible? I couldn't find any references to it being so.

  • Yep super video and very well explained and easy to understand by everybody. Thanks for posting .

  • great video mike ,lots of usefull tips ,keep up the good work ,
