It is true that DC is where go-go started. But is is total bullshit to say that u have to be from DC to understand or get it. If you are a person of color from anywhere, the back beat and drums speak to you from whereever you are. Learn about your culture before you talk dumb.

A fact is that people from the Carib, Latin America, Africa will pick up on beat driven music quicker than most. Just pointing that out . Every one can enjoy it but it's in your dna if you are a person of color. Just stating the facts. If you are a person of color and still don't feel it, then maybe you should go to the doctor to see what is wrong.
