Personally Time After Time(along with She Bop) is one of my favorite Cyndi Lauper songs. I think this is a fine cover of a song. Everyone is entitled to do a cover of a song if they feel like it. And yes, people are also entitled to give their opinion, but negative ones truly help no one.
