this is what we listento our community in Kansas in America with a group of German Czechoslovakian and Bohemians ,polish, Russian even from the Volga Germans probably etc. several others as well we dance to it
@ThaRastaaMonkey I know but it is not common in the rest of germany. It is a very special cultural thing. It is a cliché to say, that this music represents whole germany. Oje, I dont know how to explain this in english....I mean, you should stop thinking that all germans spend their lifetime in a beer tent and listen to this music, eating pretzel and Sauerkraut. Bavaria is just a federal state in germany and there a 15 other states who also play music. Germany doesnt consist of only bavaria.
@Nalauko92 It's ok not to like folk music, but every country has its own version. I'm from the eastern US, and it doesn't bother me that people from other countries associate the US with cowboys. I apologize for not being able to write in German (yet).
my fathers side of my family is all Irish and my mothers is german. but i never learnd anything about the germen side. but now that im older and im learning about the german side i have to say that german music is not that different than the irish i grew up with. good video.......Eight! lol

Tokio Hotel, Rammstein, Oomph, Nena, Kraftwerk, LaFee.... there's probably more,but I mostly listen to these artists.
