I think Sikhs should raise this awarness in Canada (im Canadian) through a protest, or campaigns so that the government feels preasured and they might do something about it. I also urge MP and MPP invovled in this.
i dnt think problem is that hindus are against us....the only problem is that my brothers in punjab dnt realise this fact......majority of sikhs never supported sant bhindrawale......if u tell someone from india, they still wont realise this......i consider our struggle against the mughals to be the golden age of sikhs...despite the ghalugharras.....bcoz we fought....we set examples

1.after Bluestar 1984 the number of sardars in indian army has dropped alarmingly.
2.The whole sikh regiment has been moved to Ramgarh Jharhkand 1200km away from punjab.
3.the 9 sikh regiment composed of purely sikh soldiers has been totally disbanded.
4.the 13 sikh which is the core now is composed of some sikhs and rest other ethnicities.
5.not sikhs themselves but the recruitment policies of General Vaidya caused sikhs to desert the Indian army.

Who is responsible for people to feel and believe that it would be a Sikh behind the killing of any leader or a common man??
Why do they feel so? Why never any Sikh was killed before 84 and only after the assassination of Indira??
Who is responsible for this kind of image and reputaion of Sikhs in the World?
