yea.. we deifinitely couldn't hear the piano very well when we were singing in ssa. if you listen you can tell that we get off pitch in a lot of spots in our songs and it was because we couldn't hear the piano.
I thought this could have been done a lot better. The midrange of the girls was all cancelled out by the woodwind ensemble and the intonation was off. that isn't the girls' fault though.
another thing.. they turned the piano around! what was that about?! when we were singing (ttbb) the piano was turned so the lid was open to us, then they changed it to face the the audience.. poor move. idk.
final text phrase.... "as chords in tune" (?)
tough acoustics, a least on this recording. Seems like the piece meandered all over the place.
