half of the magazine was indeed type in programs - presumably for those too poor to buy games in a shop.

@FreezingInfernos Well Don't Buy This was released for a joke as it was so bad they wanted to have a laugh with their customers. But I don't think any publisher would have the balls to purpously release a bad game and admit to it nowadays, "serious business" and all.

But I had a copy of Ninja Gaiden Trilogy as a kid, and I honestly didn't mind it. Then again I never played the original NES versions at the time. In fact, I've still not properly played NG 2 and 3 to this day.

Since Yanks (although technically I'm not a Yank since I live in the South) in the US never got to experience the ZX Spectrum since it was never sold in the US and is not available on the Wii Virtual Console (just Commodore 64) and wikipedia only shows a picture of the keyboard of it. Also what UK controllers work with US consoles you said SNES one don't.

@3afterPM I decided not to do the LP for Action 52, simply because I don't think anybody wants to sit through and watch me play through all the games in their entirety and do commentary because I don't think I can keep doing commentary for that long "Storm Over D" is a perfect example, it takes, like 45 minutes to beat that game and I would've exhausted all my material long before then. I'm thinking instead of just doing an extended review where I explain every aspect of the game instead.
