I had just heard a rare recording, demo version, of this track and I am very curious about how the vocals were recorded. Sublime was a fantastic band, the type an engineer would make play a song over and over until it was perfect, but these vocals in STP are just so FRESH and loveley, I'm wondering if they were recorded seperately after the instruments. Any engineers out there have any leads on this, its a stretch, but Im curious as an engineer myself.

i'm no engineer, but i'd assume that's just brad bein brad. muhfugger had a crazy good voice. search "play nice in the pit part 1" on youtube and skip forward to about 2 minutes and 30 seconds or so...he sounds better singing STP on a shitty ass video camera than he did when they actually recorded the damn song for their cd
