What a great artist! There was so much great music from the 60s - 80s. Much of the true art has long since faded away. If you don't believe me, just grab a sheet of paper, do a current top ten billboard search and write down the subject matter from each. I did it and it made me want to vomit. Just a bunch of self centered morons singing about sex , drinking or of all things a G6 Gulfstream. No thanks!! Makes me wnat to drop the top on my 66 Mustang and head out to the desert for ever.......
Name some good music for today. Be specific. If you name anybody that autotunes, it doesn't count. The best song I heard this week was "Racist Coffee", Julian Smith, Haha . Pretty sad when spoof songs have more content than the so called artists of today.
None of these are keepers. I find The Residents interesting but I don't classify them as great music either. Show me those that are not a construct of stolen ideas.
