Around half of the sources/liners I've seen credit this particular song as co-written by both Lee/Maclean, instead of just Lee. Does anyone here know what's the deal with that?

  • Great! Em bom português: excelente a sua versão de Andamoreagain, the most beautifull ballad that I heard in my life!

    Jean (from Brazil)

  • omg, man! such a great arrangement, you must be a genius... I wish I could play like you!

  • Your arrangement of "Andmoreagain" is quite ingenious, yet alone outstandingly beautiful. I've never seen a Love composition played with that much accuracy and technical finish. Keep up the good work, for both Arthur Lee and Bryan MacLean would be honored!

  • thanks a lot!

  • Fantastic rendering and arrangement of a great song. Arthur Lee was a hero of my teenage days who seemed to disappear. I was in Amsterdam in 2002 and caught a handbill blowing down the street with my foot, picked it up, and Arthur Lee was playing a concert - that night!. Managed to meet him and buy him a drink after the concert. Thanks for the great performance.

  • very cool. thanks

  • Exceptional playing. And a great song which brings back memories.

  • that was beautiful. forever changes is such a good album

  • thanks. yup, great album

  • i love love, and forever changes

  • bravisimo troubleclef

  • Wow! This is terrific.

  • This is BEAUTIFUL!

  • Amazing! I first found this video about 3-4 months ago. Since then, I've watched it probably 25 times. What an amazing version of one of my favorite all-time songs! How about another love or early floyd song?

  • thanks. yes those are good suggestions. i've considered some of that stuff.

  • Interstellar Overdrive!

  • yes yes yes! what a piece of acoustic guitar.nice! Lee.

  • Hey fella, I'm nearly completely ignorant about Arthur/LOVE music, but a friend forwarded this saying you sound just like them. And, I'm digging the sound very fiercely. Thank you so much for the gorgeous tune!!

  • thanks (btw, i don't sound like them!). All you need is Love's album "Forever Changes" (their masterpiece) and then check out some of their other stuff too. cheers.

  • Ah, I see there's no tab. Well, great job anyway! Keep at it.

  • Wow! Would you be willing to post a tab of this? I'd be Forever Grateful!

  • That? is very very good! Well Done. Im miss him so much. This gives me chills like Arthur is with me. thanks. Lee. you tagged the vocals!

  • This has to be my favorite versions off this song. This version should be on some sort of tribute. I play this song and sing it, but don't do it justice after hearing this version. And it just an instrumental version. Very nice.

  • thank you

  • very very good. your version reflects a great deal of respect and understanding of the material. way to go dude!

  • thanks

  • Excellent, congrats my friend, I love this song

  • That was fantastic my friend, thankyou so much.

  • Really fantastic playing - and makes you appreciate what an amzing piece of music it is!

  • You're so great, I can't tell you how many times I've watched this particular video.

  • thanks!

  • You do a fantastic version. I think this should be on some sort of compilation album or something. I saw this about a year ago and found it again. Just figured out how to write to people. Great version.

  • Bravo complimenti la chitarra sembra essere parte di te.

  • i would love to see you dig into the kinks catalog..did you study classical?

  • yes i did. i'd like to do some kinks. maybe 'Waterloo Sunset' and 'Shangrila', though those are both kind of obvious. i don't really know a lot of their stuff.

  • celluloid heros. the way love used to be. 20th century man. lola. to begin!

  • Holy Arthurly. From "Desafinado" + Bossa Nova to Beach Boys to Love... not only do you play them well... but great tastes in music!

    <br>... wow.

  • What a fantastic rendition of one of my all time favorites. Can you do "Alone Again Or" sometime? Wasn't Arthur Lee great?

  • Fantastic! Would've loved to hear some singing on this one.

  • damn!

  • Wow, you really are great!! Great Song, also Great play! Thank you for wonderful playing, I love it.

  • you should try suzanne/sisters of mersy by leonard cohen

  • An amazing interpertation and some great playing. Kudos from a fellow guitar player!

  • this song is so gorgeous....i wonder sometimes where these songs come from. there are 12 notes that everyone plays. but out of the debris of all that comes this. of course, you nail everything

  • thanks! i wonder about the same things.

  • This is one of the most beautiful songs ever written - fantastic playing!

  • Man that is super. I just learned that song for a band that I have doing all LOVE covers just for kicks. Lovely. Thanks for doing this. If you are ever in Austin, we'd have you play with us... Kindest Regards, Jas

  • i used to live in Austin, a block from Wheatsville (?) food co-op. 1990-93. Lovely place Austin is. Thanks!

  • That's great. We practice a block from Wheatsville coop 32nd and Guadalupe - how coincidental - or not? Later, ~jas

  • I've been a Love-fan for a long time, and I think you should do all the songs on Forever Changes! I really love your arrangement! It's very, very good!

  • Speechless.... it was just great fun being able to sing that song to your version.. beautiful =]

  • beautiful

  • Great!!! It´s perfect. Where can i find the tabs? I´d love to learn to play it.

  • This song is AMAZING.. I Love Love. This Is Probably My Favorite Song By Arthur Lee.. Great.

  • Yeah, it's incredible. But that album has NO low points. I have to work up some more ForeverChanges at some point (even if only to piss off MrGwangi haha see comment above)

  • If I had to choose for you, I would say do Maybe the people would be the times etc, Red Telephone, Good Humor man, Old man, Alone Again Or. Now I also think that You Set the scene is Love's bohemian Rhapsody. Try that.

  • i so agree with you chief. also you set the scene is my all time favorite.

  • Dude - amazing. I think ive heard most Arthur covers who'd have thought the best one would be some guy sitting in his living room! Outstanding!

  • thanks so much!

  • i just cant stop listening to this... wow.

you are ... well i guess is all been said before hasnt it? amazing, inspiring, brilliant, etc etc.

please keep it all comming, dont ever stop.

  • thanks!

  • Beautiful arrangement. Thanks.

  • A beautiful rendition of a beautiful song! I'm envious of your technique.

  • love your color music very much!,so please keeping it

  • Fabulous playing is it your arrangement as well? Doubly impressed. Kills me to watch it though. I've trashed the tendons in my left arm and no amount of rest fixes it. Don't overplay folks!

  • I met Arthur Lee at Bido Lito's in Hollywood in the '60s. Keep playing everything you know. I'd like to say I heard you when...

  • Incredible. Arthur's vocals would have sounded awesome with this rendition.

  • I said it before and I'll say it again, well done and thank you.

  • Mason Williams?

  • Fantastic arrangement - I don't suppose you have the tabs for this ?

  • you stink! arthur is probably rollinig over in his grave....

  • Arthur will be Rock'n'Rolling in his grave.

I think Arthur would love (pardon the pun) this actually, in fact, I think he would love each one of this guys arrangements, from his baroque to his Beatles.

  • hey dude, can you do better. ash

  • sorry, my Eenglisss ess not berry goob

  • i love singing the lyrics to this wonderful rendition, that is not an easy song to play either or to sing for that matter, auther lee perfected the turn around style i love it !!!

  • By the way. Is this your own transcription? I would love to find the tab (sorry, 13 years experience and still cannot read music) for this.

  • Fantastic! I think the proof of a great melody shows when it can be translated into a great instrumental as you have done here and as people have done for years with teh Beatles. Even Queens of the Stone Age have had an orchestra play their tracks.

  • That's a REALLY nice arrangement. Reminds you how melodic Arthur's songs were.

  • Very nice mate :)

  • beautiful.

  • this made me literall sick. You should go back to school or whatever you do....your guitar playing sucks by the way

  • mrgwangi4325 put your money where your mouth is and submit your own take on this piece or hold your malevolent tongue.

  • fantastic playing thank you so much for a classic beautiful song

  • Fantastic stuff, really well done.

I've been away and I've only just heard that Arthur had died.

Though he must be andmoreagain, for if you just wish, he is here.

  • what a lovely rendition of that timeless classic, thank you so much - and great to sing the lyrics to, too!

I am greatly honoured to have had arthur lee`s music as a constant companion for over 30 years of my life.

"write the rules in the sky - then ask your leaders: WHY?".

  • Wonderful Man,Wonderful-thank you !

  • Beautiful. I can sing it, but can't play the song nearly that well. Thanks to the poster. Thanks to Arthur - great, unheralded genius.

  • R.I.P. Arthur Lee. Great instrumental rendition, by the way. "Alla God's chilluns gotta have dere freedom"

  • Just a quick question: Are you actually reading the music as you play or is this just from memory?

  • RIP Arthur Lee 1945 - 2006

  • You really tapped into the essence of this gorgeous song by a genious songwrighter.

  • (°.°)

  • rest in peace Arthur

  • What a shame that Arthur's gone, I just heard myself. Great tribute to the man, I thought... I just wish him luck whereever he is...

  • I was very bummed to hear about Arthur. "Forever Changes" is one of those albums I grew up with, but whose genius only really hit me as I grew older. (I'm 29.) This arrangement is amazing. What a tribute. Five stars.

  • was inspired to play it, got chords and some melody but would love a tab if you have one. cheers m
