@Farmerjohn21 Can't blame the guy too much for thinking that, a lot of sources claim that the two were the same band and the name changed. The Wikipedia page is pretty ridiculous, Brian read it in an interview in 2010 and just tore it apart.

Seems like they were doing the Too Much Joy version because they were playing the show in New England. Too Much Joy was from NY and the hidden track on '....Finally" (and right after A New England) is Underneath a Jersey Sky - which is a nice connection to Fallon and the boys.

Franks just has a naturally loader voice. Fallon's voice is a bit deeper too, most of the gaslight's song are tuned a full step down.
