This was a very inspiring video. I wish I could be as brave as you are, but I digress... Anyways, the video was good, the answers were great, and the interview-styled setup was interesting as well. All in all, I'm glad I came across this :)

@deej1011 I didn't think it would inspire anyone, but I'm glad my work was worth it. Making videos on YouTube isn't that brave, but having self confidence helps. I got the idea from watching a video by someone else, but that video was removed a while ago.

@brittanyducos That is a big reason why I make these videos, especially this one. They are to explain a part of my life that is usually misunderstood by people. I hope it helps those closest to me the most, like friends and family.

The name is Obama. What I say has nothing to do with him, so I don't know why it would stop you from having an open mind. Barack is not part of me, but I am a supporter, even before he was the nominee for the Democratic Party or the President. My support for Obama is not limited to the past, it is persistent. You don't have to share my political philosophy to understand what I'm saying in the video.

The labels you call yourself aren't really what's important. Just be who you really want to be, since the labels are just a simple categorization of things, but everyone is unique. Gender queer can describe many types of people!

No, I just did this for effect in the video, showing my old self talking to my new self. I have one personality, but I am expressing my gender in different ways lately. I'm moving toward just presenting as female, but until I can do that all the time, I have to present as male sometimes.

I'm glad it has some value. I think I can create something better in the future, but it took a lot of work, and I got tired of making it. It must be interesting if it will be my first video to get 1,000 views. Maybe next time I can do an interview with someone else, which might be easier. Thank you for the encouraging comments!
