That's a classic GSP way to ride in the car! He probably puts his head on your shoulder as you drive. When they say a dog is man's best friend they are talking about the GSP no doubt.

@ofcelticblood Yes, we have too much to learn from dogs and other animals. Just because they can't speak as we do it doesn't mean they are lesser creatures. Their loyalty has no end, even if we don't deserve it and their love is profound & sincere.
One of my other dogs -Lucky- was cruelly mistreated by her previous owner, but even after enduring so much, she ran for 8 kms after her owner's car after she was abandoned on a beach.

They are highly intelligent, very loving and a definite joy in my life. Cutter is 4 years old and "Dinkie" is about 6 1/2. I am fostering her for a GSP rescue, but since she has been with me for almost 2 years, I have to say she is probably with her 'forever" home. Hoping for 10-15 years together.

Dogs give us tenfold the amount of love we manage to give them, that's for sure.
We don't live in cold climate, but all my dogs have winter coats for the cool winter nights when the temperature drops to around 10C or lower. They also have a water bed for the hot summer days, and their own fan to keep them cool.

@Harrisonthebrave Oh, please! I would love to watch that video. I do love dogs to the extreme. I most definitely prefer them than many, many people. Their love is unconditional, endless and selfish, and the worst part is that usually we don't even deserve it! They would die for you without hesitation.

Yes, we have a seat belt for dogs, but just one, and we have 4 dogs now, so we have never used the seat belt on them yet.
They like to move freely at the back of the car, so I'm not sure if they would get used to the seat belt.
