its not hard to get that much air when you have that big of a wake.. rolls in mid air were sick, when your momentum starts carrying you outside the wake on a sharp corner try barrel rolling across the water, just tuck your head and spin, it looks sweet. also hes right with the knees, leanback and sit on ur legs and when u hit the wake jump off ur knees and lay out flat on the tube, u kn get some sick air. wish i had a wake like that to jump off of, my nautique doesnt even get that big.

It is funny that you ask this. Check out the only tower I have ever seen that says it is guaranteed to handle tubers! Most tower manufacturers say that they will not warranty their tower if you use it for tubing. These guys recommend it! StrongestTower..com

the best way to do that is to get on your knees on the very back of the tube, then lean back and just as the tube hits the wake, jump/move forward on the tube to get some spring-loaded air.

the best size tube is around 57". one way to get the best air is to be on your knees and "skim" towards the wake and right before you hit it give the tube a little bounce. also if you guys are really "pros" my friend and i could definitely be one too.... getting so close to landing the wake-wake barrel roll

Thanks man... think about it as potential energy. As far as what we do, we start on our knees and lean back right up until we jump... forward and over the wake. But, the driver has to have the right amount of turn and speed in order to generate lots of potential energy to whip across the wake, while maintaining a big wake. Our driver likes to almost come to a stop when he whips us out, and then guns it.

the driver whips us out, then almost comes to a stop, and then accelerates straight ahead. When he accelerates, the back of the boat sinks down, creating a big wake, and because he is going straight, the wake remains large.

we usually use 60 inch flat tubes called airhead slices, they are the easiest to use and they have neoprene knee guards, but if you can find a 58 inch flat tube, that would make it easier to do barrel rolls

have you used the Rave "Razor" Its a flat tube like the slice, but in the shape of an arrowhead sort of. I use two of those with a hotdog in the middle. It's fun to jump it like that. You guys are good!!

the best tubes for barrel rolls on the water are 56 inch tubes with holes, and they should be pretty inflated. I think the best tubes for barrel rolls in the air are 58 inch ones, which are hard to come by. the ones we are using are airhead slices - 60in. they are good for stability and control, and get great hangtime. however, the most important thing is getting a boat that can really accelerate, and an excellent driver.
