I've found that it's much easier to use a larger needle (US 15 or 17) because the yarn doesn't slip out as easily... It's just what works better for me. These scarves are really fun to make.
It looks a heck of a lot easier to knit than the Can Can; however, I don't like the look of the fabric it makes as much. Thank you for a very clear and understandable video!
I use the top top stitch and it creates a really good effect. However this works fine.
