  • Im only 16 and i already screwed up my teeth by using them as clippers really sux

  • its a great idea, but im using a very small hook like you said to use with 4lb line and my hook still sinks with powerbait "dough bait"

  • @xTW33T3Rx Seems odd to me. If the stocked trout where you fish are average of about 10 inches, use a #16 treble hook. If it still sinks, just add barely enough until it floats. A ball of bait smaller than a U.S. dime (1 cm) should float it. Report back! ~ Trout Ninja ~

  • @TroutNinjaTV I wasn't using enough dough. I had to use about a nickel's worth...i made sure it floated, casted out ended up catching a pretty decent size trout!

It swallowed the hook pretty bad though, which sucked. but he still tasted good :P

    thanks for the help!

  • I put a hook through my finger when I was a kid. My old man did it too. Funny thing is they used fishing line to pull it out. haha

  • hi trout ninja i really love to fish and i have watched every single one of your vidieos, i was just wondering how can i become a tester, it would be my dream to be able to test your products well thank you so much!!! ~Dylan~

  • @epicfisher Thanks for watching. Field Testers must apply. Not all are chosen. If you sign up for tips at TroutNinjaTV com, you'll get an email after about a week which describes the Field Tester application process. Now Go Catch Some Fish! ~ Trout Ninja ~

  • Nice video!! I really loved the fingernail clipper help on the hook when cinching the knot (never thought of that).

  • This rig was perfect. Took in-laws from S. Korea out in the San Pablo Reservoir and they took home some good sized rainbows. Plan on using it again soon with my grandparents

  • @xenviousx Go catch more trout! Thanks for commenting. Very cool of you to take the in-laws fishing.

Get pics of the Grandparents and email em to me at the TroutNinjaTV website. You can see my parents there in the Field Tester section. They came out last Thanksgiving and caught a lot of trout using the same exact rig with Trout Ninja Floating Formula. ~ Trout Ninja ~

  • hey, great vids, very helpful, thank you!!!

  • dude you need to put a glass bead between the lead sinker and the swivle the sinker will damage the knot if you dont!

  • @MyAlfamale Duuude! Good preventive maintenance. But don't let lack of a bead stop you from fishing. Thanks for the comment. ~ Trout Ninja ~

  • thanks Ninja, love the videos very usefull!!...go bears!!

  • i use 6 lb test by zebco

  • So simple that it's great. In a time when everything is so complicated this is fresh and it propably works the best. Can't wait to try it.

  • @filipefrn Nothing complicated. Inexpensive yet deadly. Thanks for commenting. If you'd like latest trout fishing discoveries & tips, sign-up at TroutNinjaTV.ocm

  • Why wouldn't you just use a regular swivel?

  • @gear47 We use barrel swivels or barrel swivels with the snap. Whichever is in the tackle bag. As long as it is a swivel so your line doesn't get too twisted. Thanks for watching. • Well, i didn't catch anything my last outing, but I'm going out today in 2 hours, 6am, right at sunrise. I'll report back well hopefully. Still using this rig today.

  • @runescapevids sadly no hits, but I i know it's not the rid, it's gotta be my bait, i've tried the power eggs through power bait dough >.< but also i might need to reduce my line. Well thank you for all these tips anyways!

  • Looks good, would this work for catfish as well? I fish a stocked lake and trout season is over for stocking and they're moving to Catfish.

  • @hoshnasi Works great for catfish. You may want to shorten your leader to about a foot or even less. Use the right line strength and the right sized circle hook for your lake's catfish. And use a floating catfish bait. Tell me how it works out for you.
