And also can you get assigned to seals cause I would love to work with seals may have been asked but please keep in touch thanks
So I'm currently training while waiting for my crosstrain window to open. I'm having trouble understanding the difference between CCT and TACP. Can anyone clear this up? Honestly I just want as much action as I can possibly get, but CCT is considered specforce while TACP isnt. Yet they are in JTACs together?
I am infact a TACP, and kinda.... you fill out a dream sheet just like any other air force dude would. it shows the air force the top 5(in order) duty stations where you would like to be sent to next. If you figure out where that army unit is that you would like to be alligned with, then you just put it down and leave the rest blank.
compared to infantry, the exact same rate. we get shot at because we are embedded in 99.9% of all infantry, armor, cav...... you name it and we are there. the only exception is army SF and SEALs where we are embedded in 30-40% of those maneuver units.
it depends on which army element your unit is alligned with. for the guys supporting airborne, SF, or ranger units yes. for the guys supporting stryker brigades and armored divisions, no.
@lechodemeista It depends on what Army combat maneuver unit you get assigned to. If you get your cert for Airborne or Air Assault then you can do insertion by fixed wing aircraft or VTOL (helo)

I know in the army, the age to join SF is 21 or 22. Is there a specific age to do tacp or cct?
