You videos are great. Your attention to detail is soo interesting. I find that I. Watch your videos when I'm stressed and they really chill me out! Love them! :)
Have you ever spend a night out in those forests? I mean, like camping. Not necessarily camping with a tent, you could just sleep under some tree or bush. It could be an interesting video! Alone in the dark, all sorts of sounds around you, rain, animals checking you out, trying to figure out whether you are food or not, and so forth... I'm looking forward to that video.
@reshjuk Hello friend, The timing of your question is great as I have indeed been thinking of doing this beginning this year. I often camped in the USA though since coming to Japan I have only done day hikes. I think there may be some hike/camp vids coming up later this year! Thanks again for asking! ~Kurt :-)
Also, the beehive in this video reminded me of that one vid. a while back, when you were going up these stairs and there was (i think) an abandoned beehive blocking the way up the stairs... did you ever go beyond that beehive? jw... thnx for the vid! ;)
@MANNY100123 Hello friend, I'm sorry I have still not visited behind that beehive. I do plan to do this when I get back to that area again. I'm very curious to find out. Have a great day! ~Kurt :-)
do you know the name of that bird that is calling? it sounds like the visitor alert in the inn i stayed at. I loved that sound and wanted to get a sound clip of it.
I love that idea of attracting a wild animal to your space to help you. I wish to attract a hedgehog to my garden to eat the slugs that are currently eating the leaves of my turnips.
very interesting. but why dont they use something that attracts the bees because they like it, like some food, instead of something they hate? i mean why would they build their hive next to a flower whose smell they hate? even after they destroy it, it would regrow.
anyways, what really got my attention in this vid was the square well. it looked very beautiful with the raindrops falling on the surface of the water.
i love your video's softypapa the way you speak and teach us how japan is i love japan i wish i were you keep makin such interesting video -TheHyruleMaster
@selllout101 they are giant salamanders, and look a lot like a pre-metamorphosed salamander (an axolotl)
japanese people tell their kids to stay out of certain waters as these "fish with hands" have been known to drag down small children into the water and bite the fingers and - i think somethimes - the hands of adults

That was really interesting and the sound of the rain made it a very peaceful experience.

do they have Salamanders in Japan? i would assume so because of how moist it is. Also, how much would you say it rains where you live?
