CORRECT, for PC Quake 1 will always be the best, but for console, nothing has ever come close to the glory days of Golden Eye with a 14" tv and four friends, haha!

Perfect Dark is a way better game than Golden eye

in single player mode 007 goldeneye is better perfect dark

but in multiplayer mode perfect dark wins,perfect dark has better maps,weapons,has the simulants etc.

the multiplayer on perfect dark is good with all the weapons and the sims but goldeneye has better maps for multiplayer, the single player is best on goldeneye easily

sorry goldeneye is better then perfect dark just cause theres a shitty port on xbla dont make it any better, sorry ,the remake of goldeneye on wii is what pd on xbla could have been a whole new game not just some shitty port also pd has multiplayer but single player goes to goldeneye , and fun levels in multi again goldeneye , half of the levels in pd multi sucked .

@ninendowii2000 perfect dark was better, it refined every thing that was good about golden eye, added more guns each one having a secondary, it added bots to multiplayer, and the story line was better... any both are good and golden eye was more popular because it came 1st and it was amazing and it proved how good console exclusive fps's could be, the same way halo combat evolved did way back in 2001

@DaRkLoRd1061 there are still some thing s that make goldeneye better like it has a much better game modes...the man with the golden gun and you only live twice(i kinda wish that perfect dark had some sort of a survival mode)

and things like the armor system was MUCH better in goldeneye...i hated that shield it took out many great features of the regular shooting you could not stick mines or knifes to peoble anymore and the one hit weapons didnt kill in one hit anymore

Perfect dark was better in every way possible it had voice acting, smarter AI, secondary weapon use, the classic goldeneye guns, requires the expansion pak, WAYY BETTER MULTIPLAYER, hell even the 3 classic bond multiplayer levels are on here as well

Both are great games, but I prefer Goldeneye mostly because I am not a big fan at the end of perfect dark where you start killing alliens, and not to mention in goldeneye you get to be Bond.

Goldeneye definitely. Perfect Dark was a good game too but fuck, my cartridge kept freezing and glitching and plus you need an expansion pack to play the game. With Perfect Dark, they tried to jam as much as they could onto that cartridge. Goldeneye kept it perfect.

Perfect dark, it had nearly twice the weapons, COOP campaign, counter op, Crazy customization like with custom weapon sets, characters with interchangeable bodies and heads, bots with multiple personalities to choose, secondary fire on weapons which made them all unique. It took Goldeneye and made it like 10X better

yeah but at the same time they ruined tyhe armor system that way that the shield worked in perfect dark was just stupid that was my only problem with perfect dark and consitering that you really needed the armor it was a pretty big one

And Perfect dark was just a Rework of the gameplay to Goldeneye since the expansion pak wasn't out at the time in development so the game couldn't handle the other features that was going to be in goldeneye,thats why alot of things where taken out of the game cause the N64 didn't handle much of the Game
