Do you know of any kinds of clear tape that are good for taping down strings of lights that can come off as well as it can go on? Feel free to buy a vowel
leave the tape on and paint over the primer if its hot the tape will bond to whatever its sticking to especially if its in sunlight but theres usually no problem.
Your videos are fantastic. My favorite is how to use a Roller when painting. Made a BIG difference in my daughter's room. Looks professional. You know your stuff and the info is great.
Wow.... never knew, even the simplest things can be a bit technical.... I super appreciate the info.... now I know why its a pain to take masking tape thats been up for a couple months (left over pieces from yard sale signs).
Hint: if you are having a hard time getting masking tape off, heat it with a hair dryer. It will soften the adhesive. Any remaining residue use Goo-Gone and let it soak for a couple of minutes.
Thanks Tim! I'd always bought inexpensive masking tape with the thought that "tape is tape". I was only using it to keep my lettering level on a glass window so why would I need some expensive fancy masking tape. Let me tell you, cleaning off that adhesive from a 4-foot window was not fun.

does masking tape will result in skin irritating ? wat's the product's chemical content?

I'm sure it's possible. Contact the mfr of the tape you're having problems with to determine its chemical content.

Should I use masking tape when I apply primer? If so, should I remove it and use new masking tape when I apply the paint?
WateryFowl 4 years ago
It depends on many factors. Sorry I can't be more specific.

That "measuring tape" tape is really cool. It can tell you how long you have been painting...lol

Oh, wait until you use some of the blue tape that peels off so easy you will not believe it!
