Human space travel still have a long way to go. We don't even know a feasible way to create artificial gravity needed for a prolong space mission.

How does religion enter a topic about interstellar flight lol. Anyways ion drives are the natural next step for sustained deep space exploration. I can't believe that all satellites are not been scheduled for manufacture with ion plasma drives as a bare minimum for basic propulsion. Deep Space One is a stop gap measure. Without a follow up, you had a feasibility demonstration of ion propulsion and autonomous navigation. I would have hooked up a program for searching for previously launched probes. At best we got a speed trial, what we needed was something new we could do in space? Big engineering on small budgets requires innovation.

It's a start what was done. But without something like a map of 'Ceres' or the next big meteor impact; good impressions get funding|

Anyone who has used a ham radio knows that in order to talk to someone in china, you have to bounce your signal off of the moon at night. The reason you can do this is because American astronauts placed an antenna on the surface during Apollo 11. The only "evidence" there is that the lading was faked is purely speculative.

I dont that this would ever happen it wouldnt work, I mean you would need a radiation proof vehicle to pass through the van allen belts and then there is probably loads more problems if we ever got to pass that.

Even if we were to get over those barriers, there is one crucial factor we can't overcome. Speed. Even if we found a way to travel at the speed of light, it will takes us months/years to get to the nearest solar system. In theory a black hole might "teleport" us to our destinations. Just a theory. lol. BTW, we can make it. I know we can. Just look at all the other "impossible" feats humans accomplished.

Not a black hole mate, but a wormhole. If you fly into a black hole, your atoms would crush into the gravitational singularity. But who knows, some scientists even say that if we live in a multiverse, and that atoms cannot be created or destroyed, then these black holes might be acting like an umbillical cord connecting onto another universe via a white hole.

PS: Both terms white hole and multiverse is hypothetical, like the Hoggs Boson.
