i love ryus who use a lot of meter on EX moves.

ryu has some of the best ex moves in the game.

In round 1 against Kokujin, when Ruu caught him with the EX kick, why did he finish the combo with a hurricane rather than a shoryu?

Because he surely wanted to stay close to the enemy. Tatsumaki instead of shoryu allows that.

did you know fierce shoryu and fierce hurricane does same damage?

in that case, why not drive kokujin towards the corner. the corner is a dangerous position to be for anybody.

i personally think y2j is a really good ryu, possibly even as good or better than ruu. namijin is another great ryu player. frankie 3s is great, but denjin doesn't really impress me that much. go shinkuu!!

i thought so too but then theres only a couple of videos with y2j's ryu. ruu's ryu is remarkable because he has like a 8 win to 2 loss ratio among the best players. ill say that ruu has the best ryu, just that i dont like the color he uses.

I think Ruu is a good Ryu. imo Namijin and Georgia are better. frankie3s is cooler just becoz his denjin Ryu is awesome. and frank is top 3 in the US, he's been sent to SBO like twice, playing RYU!

I think Ruu is the best along with Namijin. Georgia isnt that good definitely. He doesnt amaze me that much. Ruu has crazy mixup and true Ryu skills as you can see in the second round with Urien.

i'm going to refine my statement and say that Namijin, VANAO, and Ruu are the best ryus. after seeing the new vanao and his incredible denjin play, he's my personal fav becoz so few ppl use Ryu let alone denjin effectively.

yeah vanao is a great denjin player. i use denjin ryu as my main character also so i play a sick denjin as well. i need to upload more of my awesome matches sometime.

At 00:55 is to funny. Ru hurried up and did that combo before he was getting hit by the Aegis Reflector. Lol. He still got hit after his combo to. That was funny. I agree Ru probably has the best Ryu I have seen in 3s. Great vid.
