Hey Claudio, No need for forgiveness. You are doing preety good beginner close range drill. Heck ..you probably do it better than me. I don't know it all..but..if you start out letting the inside block on his right shoulder hit pass thru as you catch his right hand with your left hand you will find yourself outside his stick. Then you can hit him on the right ribs recatch his stick with yours. Anyway do one change up at a time..then work on another(Keep it simple). Good luck, Ron Saturno
It seems that your partner is not cooperating with you. If he will synchronize with your movement you'll get near your goal. Plus both of you are getting carried away. You must both be relaxed and don't let your emotions or adrenaline get the best of you.
Plus you are going back to your hubud drill. Nothing wrong with that. but you have to empty your cup to get the balintawak drill. hope this helps.
Looks like Atillo Balintawak??? It's looking good, but the student is not synchronizing with the speed of the teacher. Don't look at the stick, break the pattern and just react. Keep up the good work.
I play Inosanto-LaCoste System... but really like Balintawak and will keep up training those few introduction drills we saw at Atillo Balintawak Seminar. We have a lot of work to get better and hope to have more contacts with this nice system of Eskrima.
