I am a big Ellen/Portia fan and it's just that i was wondering if you guys are sure they actually me here. I could be wrong but last time i saw the interview with both of them on Oprah i thought that Portia said they actually met at a photo shoot where they both really felt something when they saw each other or something like that. But please correct me if i am wrong. And Arrested Development is the bomb, seriously :)

@VmarsGgirl That's because this is not where they first met. They first met at a concert in 2001 and even though there was a lot of chemistry between them they didn't do anything about it until December 2004 when they finally got together!

After watching the emmys today (62nd), all I can say is: BRING ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT BACK!

It's too funny to lose. It should win every category it can possibly win, because it's simply that good.

As for the movie, I can't wait! I honestly consider AD the best show that was ever made. I'm just hoping for the best when it comes to a show as good as this.

The awards show where they officially "hooked up" (some people say messed around or just made out, but no one knows for sure) was the Big in '04 awards on December 1, 2004. They had met previously but never did anything until that night at the Big in '04 awards. I have an interview of Portia at that same awards show where she "hooked up" with Ellen on my channel.

I doubt TV will get "smarter" or deviate, TV is about conformity, it's really about appealing to WIDE audiences (sound like Americans? ) so of course shows like Arrested Development wont be around because they do not appeal to extremely large demographics, which won't help maximize profits for the MSM.

BUT I think good shows have more of a chance on HBO or something, where there is more freedom to deviate from the status quo and have an original show with SOME degree of artistic merit. Just look at Curb Your Enthusiasm. But of course Larry David is rich from his success...WITH NBC >:O
