Selective breeding is NOT a process of culling animals; it is the process of culling particular traits and selecting others in attempt to produce offspring with the most potential for a certain purpose—systematic euthanization would be more fitting for your description. Either way you are splitting hairs here. Dog racing and dog fighting are not equally egregious; to suggest so is fallacious.

There is a difference between dog fighting and dog racing, the same as horse fighting (Yes, it exists) and horse racing. One is legal, the other isn't. I'm not going to get into the debate of how humane it is or PeTA.
Fact is, too many of these people get away with (literally) murder. Same goes with quite a few cops.
