Yes you are right. This is a local application CO2 system installed on a printing press in the UK. And the reason I know this is simply because I installed the mechanical aspect of the system along with several others. This type of Suppression system is the best at dealing with printing press fires simples.
@Sprengchen CO2 is a non-metal oxide and will react with the water in your bloodstream, forming carbonic acid, lowering your blood pH, causing acidosis. Blood pH is at 7.4 in a healthy individual and a drop below 6.9 is considered lethal. ~ 5 % Vol. CO2 and you lose consciousness (even if oxygen levels are maintained), ~ 8 % Vol. CO2 is considered lethal. At 8 % Vol. CO2, about 19 % Vol. is still O2. Even 16 % O2 would suffice. You won't have any time to suffocate. Acidosis will kill you first.
CO2 pushes the oxygen away thats right it is heavyer than air so if you are in the room when the flood procedure starts go to a position where you are above the co2 cloud co2 isnt a poisonous gas you breath it out the whole time so if you come in the cloud stop brething and get out of it if you are inhailing something of it so that isnt dangerous or something as long as you come back to normal air befoure you are out of air or better said oxygen
By the looks of it, this is just a Local Application system, not a flooding system. In other words, the CO2 system is designed so that CO2 is applied to equitment that would probably be on fire instead of flooding the entire room. This method is more common for larger room like this one because the ammount of CO2 nessasary to do a flooding of the room would be huge, as well as the cost of the system.
@rroge5 he stands away , you can see the co2 . so he pipe down maybe. than you can alive , but if you pipe in , your brain will shut down . and at the question with hitler i wont get an answer. because i am a german , so its hard what hitler done .
