  • Years ago I saw Ralph Sutton at Compact Disc World in Totowa, NJ. I thought he was Peter Steele from Type O Negative. I would have asked him to drop his pants to be sure he wasn't Peter Steele. But that would have been gay.

  • @Jefgg That wouldn't have been gay at all! I'd have enjoyed it.

  • @TourBusDriver Are you Ralph? I was so disappointed when I saw you buying Madonna CD singles that day. I guess you needed that for your other dj job. And sometimes you have to act like a wus to get chicks. On a serious note, it was a real shame when Peter Steele passed away.

  • Chicago Wabo?!?!

  • agreed

  • Bette Midler

  • ur moms sound like a good person...

  • WHAT ABOUT SOHO-WABO?

  • Ummm....Sammy Hagar is wearing crocs??!! Why would he do such a cruel thing to image?? LOL

  • The fun part is that Eddie doesn't care.

  • Sam's lookin' pretty old and chubby; Dave's got washboard abs. Amazing contrast.

  • Sammy Rock's

  • Hey interviewer, a word of advice. Let the interviewee, finish answering your questions before you interrupt.

  • TORONTO WABO!!

  • yeah, I agree .........Toronto Wabo!

  • Detroit Wabo!!! We'll let you Canucks share...lol

  • Hahaha! You know, my husband always says let's go to the States.......my answer there's nothing there for me.....so no! But hmmmm Detroit Wabo??? I think I would definetly go! Yeah!! Imagine that! Toronto Wabo!

  • I've been to Toronto many times and I can't say anything bad about it or Canada as a whole(with the exception of no doors on the stalls in the restrooms at most McDonald's I've been to... Whats up with that?) So I think either city would be good for a Wabo!

  • Oh, you mean the men's one? I have no idea why dear. I was close to going into one when I had to go do an ultra sound

.....went for the men's washroom at Mc Donalds.......Yeah, that would be so awesome......you been to the one in Cabo San Lucas?

  • I'm not the shyest person in the world, but thats just wrong. Some things should be private!

I've been to the Cabo Wabo 20 or so times( I went to College for 2 years in Southern California). The only time I saw Sammy was for the Birthday Bash, last year!

Cabo San Lucas as a whole is more laid-back then TJ, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun or Acapulco.

It's kinda like Baywatch meets The Golden Girls...lol

If you ever go, try to go in the winter moths: Dec to Feb. it's less active in those months.

  • Hahaha! Yeah yeah. Lucky you! Last year he came to Canada. Once at Casino Rama in May, I believe. Then later in the summer to some park......for a rock festival. I didn't go the first time.....no one wanted to go with me....I don't drive. Second time, I found out the day before. I hope he comes back this year!

  • Actually, He probably will tour in Canada in the summer or fall. But, it'll probably be with CHICKENFOOT his new super Group with Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Red Hot Chili peppers drummer Chad Smith.. The Last I heard they were recording now!

  • Yeah, I've heard about that.

I just think he has a truly amazing voice.

I hope he does do Canada. You seen him in concert?

  • He was my very first concert! I saw him on the marching to mars tour at the State Thearter in Detroit. Since then I've seem him 6 more times for a total of 7 times solo and 1 time with Van Halen..

I've seen most of the relevnt rock Artitst of the last 30 years. No one puts on a show like Sammy. The only two that come close are Bob Seger and AC/DC... Sammy's live shaows are legandary!

  • Holy! Wow! You are so darn lucky. I just started getting into Van Halen like 2 years ago. I love Sammy. He is my fav of the VH singers. What a voice I tell ya! Yeah my buddy went to see AC/DC and he says they rocked it. Not bad for old guys.

  • Trust me I've seen a lot of bad concerts in my day! Sammy, AC/DC, Seger, Ted Nugent and a band called Sevendust are the only artist for which I've seen multiple concerts. So i feel I can honestly judge them. Sammy, AC/DC and Seger honestly put on one hell of a show. Sevendust was alright and Ted Nugent SUCKS!!!

I've seen a lot of bands at least once and most of them put on good shows. However the worst conert I went to(and the only one where I wanted my money back) was Aerosmith in '97 or '98!

  • In your day????? And how old are you? LOL! I haven't been to any.........I'm breaking out of my shell late in life I guess! Don't laugh......So why was the Aerosmith one bad? They sucked or what?

  • LOL. I'm 27... I've found that 27 is old compared to the normal youtube set!

The Aerosmith concert was bad because Joe Perry was drunk and playing an entire bar behind the rest of the band! Plus, they had these two phallic shaped inflatable monstrosities that A) would only inflate half way and B) Steven Tyler felt the need to hump them!

I don't need stunts like that... Just play the music and save all the theatrics, jumbo screens and pyro... Just play the music!

  • LOL! and here I thought you were a well seasoned 60 year old! Nearly made me choke on my KFC drumstick with the humping Tyler. I got a hold of a DVD of when AC/DC came to Toronto.....nice show. Heart is coming in May.......wanna see them.

  • Yeah, I get that a lot based upon the music I like! I've never seen Heart, I like some of their 80's stuff.

You're lucky. You didn't have to see Tyler humping... I still wake up in cold sweats!

  • No, no, no.........thank God I didn't see that! Hey, why didn't you join him? Hahaha!

I like a lot of the rock stuff. I went thru my phase of rap, reggae and pop....but not no more.....only a selected few songs. Rock on!

  • i live in fresno cali. Sammy is soooo right about everything. Cabo Wabo Fresno is off the hook!!!!

  • Sam is the man :)

  • Satriani, Hagar, Smith and Anthony....TOUR!!!!

    LETS GO!!!!

  • That show was friggin awesome! way 2 go Sammy lookiin good!

  • I was there!!

  • Best, most revealing, honest fireside type chat with Mr. laid back himself, Sam Hagar! Thanks 4 sharing this with the world. Sam we love you, support you and never get enough of you! Shout out to Aarron from your cruise/Fresno Wabo pals Yas & Greg! Living it Up, Baby!

  • Great story, great interview. Sammy tells it straight, has no reason to hide behind the fued between VH and him. He basically raised his middle finger at Alex and Eddie.

Hagar lives - rock on Sammy!
