  • honestly ace was the best musician in kiss

  • This song fuckin' ROCKS!!!!

  • @Rattshewantsmoney I am really beginning to think you don't love me anymore.

  • @Rattshewantsmoney You obviously don't know Jimmy Pages notorious history of "borrowing." He and Led Zep wound up paying in the hundreds of thousands of dollars in settlements to the families of a couple of black blues players they took from.

Check out the CD "Led Astray" for a compilation of tunes Zeppelin took from.

BTW, I still am a rabid Zep fan, but I don't deny the truth.

And you are not just a douche, you're a third-hand douche with a reservoir tip.

  • @Rattshewantsmoney Excuse me. . .I didn't write "stolen."

I said "borrowed pretty heavily. Just a fact.

  • Wow, Jimmy Page borrowed pretty heavily from that opening on "Over Now" from the Coverdale/Page CD. pretty blatant.

  • 30 years ago, when I was 5 years i looked under the Christmas tree, and there was a present with my name on it that appeared to be a LP record. The wrapping was too thin so I could see the contours of Ace Frehley's painted face when looking closely at the it. I was so happy, yet ashamed that I had sneak-peeked and knew what I was getting. This was something I had wished for all the year. I was a blood-fan at the age of five. :-D

  • muito boa musica

  • A gloriously unPC song especially when you think of how many little kids were into Kiss in the 70s.

The spacemen says taking drugs is cool kids.

    Excellent!

  • Ozone was PCP back then where I came from. Is that what he's talking about?

  • every drug has their ozone. alcohol helps me reach my own ozone!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @BSlash24 i'll pretend i didn't read that.

  • ...yeah, in the 70's.Jack in the 90's. Praising God in the 2000's!!

  • KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSforeverOHYEAH KISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSFOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

  • @nerfer112345 and 4 ever and forever after KISS #1

  • I'm the kinda guy who likes feeling high....oh yeah ACE says it best!!!!

  • So, Ace, how do you feel about getting stoned? LOL!

  • this song sounds just as good today as it did when it first came out. I think it sounds even better today, because lets face it. most music today really sucks. however though. Anomaly sounds really good. I am not into Sonic boom though. I also wish Kiss would play different songs live. it seems they play almost the same song list every concert. it gets pretty old to me. although I really wish they would get back together for a Kiss alive 75 tour.that was their best album ever.

    I feel.Peace out!!

  • I had this album when it first came out and learned a lot of the tunes. This was one cool album. Two fav solos are Shock Me and Rocket Ride (from Kiss Alive II).

  • ATTENTION KISS ARMY!!! Visit my Klassic KISS channel for news, tours, and updates!!

  • Ozone, Snowblind & Wiped Out are my faves on this album. My Top 5 fave KISS albums are 1. Destroyer 2. Creatures/ Night 3. Hotter Than Hell 4. Love Gun 5. Revenge Favorite songs Ace vocal : Damn near all of them :) Favorite songs Gene vocal: God Of Thunder, Unholy, Charisma, Under The Rose, Plaster Caster, Calling Dr. Love Favorite songs Paul vocal: Move on, Psycho Circus, Hotter Than Hell Favorite songs Peter vocal: Beth, Strange Ways, Kissin Time I know im forgetting a ton.
  • Ace is the man,he dont sound like no woman singing, plays guitar like a rock god,by far the coolest dude in Kiss!!

  • amzaing orchestrater, #1 guitarist

  • best ace song

  • he will never match this album in fact destroyer, kiss and love gun and revenge are the only kiss albums in this leauge. in my opinion the five best kiss albums.

  • This is the best song to get high to.

  • just love this song!!!!!

    he rocks. Go Spaceman!

  • In an interview, Ace mentioned all the attention his 1978 solo album is getting---he said he thought it would be cool some day to do a live show with only the songs on the album and put it on a DVD! If he does that, he'll sell lots of DVDs. Everyone who has heard it loves Ace's 1978 album!

  • If he does that, I'll travel land and sea to get to one of those concerts, and I ain't kiddin'. I can't imagine how awesome that would be.

  • Ace's KISS solo album is a rock and roll treasure. I had forgotten what an awesome tune Ozone is, with all the classic Ace flourishes. Like others have mentioned, why hasn't Ace done this live?

  • idk its one of my favorite ace songs myself, i wonder that

  • sure ace and peter snorted all of paru, and now they are sober. i know, first hand what coke can do to you,and there's was more pure than what i've done,so it really can do evil thangs to you. but this song is one of aces best, and buy ANOMALY-it is very much worth the 20yr wait!!

  • man i cant believe ACE has NEVER done this song live before!!! one of my favs! hope ACE does it this tour! OZONE WOULD BE AMAZING LIVE!!

  • Ace is a god. Show me a bad song on 70s, solo album.and I will show you a punkass .demon lover.

  • According to Ace, this is his daughter's favorite song.

  • oh man, I'm that kind of guy too

  • i lv this man, ace rules.

gene u r fat and tired, listen a new ace album anomaly.......and learns

  • oooooh zoooooone.... ooooooh zooooooone............smoking gras was cool back in the 70ies....

  • still is

  • I was 11 when I purchased the solo albums, now I am 42 wearing suit and tie during the day and am listening to these dirtbags at nights - ROCK AND ROLL ALL OVER !!!

  • Dressed to kill, ay? ;D

  • @HardyLeo still is :P

  • This is very cool, Solo is the Best!!!

  • this is my favorite song from this album

  • im that kind of guy......who likes feelin high

  • Ace Frehley's solo album from '78 rocked so hard. I'm amazed that so many "classic rock" radio station ignore it, even "New Your Groove," which was a fairly big hit single.

  • love this song man hey this song is about weed man

  • actually, PCP lol

  • nah Ozone is PCP

  • And cocaine, and whatever else Ace could get his hands on. He didn't earn the nickname "Space Ace" from just weed! That's just my guess. Rock on dude!

  • You're right. By all accounts, he and Peter both were living in a mound of white powder.

  • One of my favorites as well! it's so dynamic, listen to the acoustic guitar! Fantastic song, fantastic album!!

  • This song has a LOT of Zeppelin influence.

  • yes man!and it's amaziiiiiing!!!!!

  • i was thinkin it sounded familiar

  • I thought it was funny how the Foo Fighters covered this song and left the solo out. LOL, Guess nobody in the band could play it!

  • KISSvideoCLASSIX

  • My friend Ronnie Potter had one of those stereos that looked like a juke box that had lights that moved to the music. we rocked the hell out of this album. uuuhhhhhgg!! let me go back in time even just for a week!! great times and great music. I'm gonna be 40 this year and I never outgrew this stuff.

  • Thank you for posting this.

  • Great F#@kin song...

  • Aces solo album rocks and hes cleaned his act up and is still rocking!!!!!

  • Holy shit!!! This song rocks!!! Glad I stumbled across it!

  • Excelllent song., and I second that doobie emotion! Ace rocks!

  • makes me wanna roll up a joint.

  • ace is really good!! and hott...

  • ace forever...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ace Rules!

  • man i love it, i haven't heard this for nearly thirty years, thank you

  • I was going to write the same thing cmklion till I saw your comment. Really brings back some memories doesn't it? Hard to believe so many years have gone by.

  • OOOOOOOOZONEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Its my favorite song ever to jam on it

  • I'm slowly softening my stance on kiss. mostly because of Ace Frehley. This is a bad ass song.

  • my dad is and always will be a huge kiss fan. i always scoffed at them alot, too. but ace, man... the guy is just way over the rest of them. just a badass boozed up, high as hell rock and roll legend with more than a bit of talent. definitely the best out of all of them and this is certanily my favorite kiss album and i've heard them all.

  • KISS Solo Albums in Order:

    1)Ace Frehley

    2)Paul Stanley

    3)Gene Simmons

    4)Peter Criss

Additional Notes: I love them all and listen to them each day. "Fractured Mirror" the instrumental is my favorite song easily from Ace. Paul Stanley's "Take Me Away (Together as One)" from that album. Gene Simmon's "Radioactive" from that one and Peter's "You Can't stop the Rain." Overall, Ace Frehley outshines Gene's, Paul's and, especially Peter's albums in musicianship to be my favorite by far.

  • I personally think Paul Stanley's album was the best. His vocals outshine genes, peters and aces. That's a fact :)

    But anyway, Ozone pwns :P :P :P :P

  • Paul's album was good, it was just that it wasn't anything special since he was the lead singer of the band and it pretty much sounded like another KISS album. Not a bad thing mind you, just kinda defeats the purpose of doing a solo album. Ace and Peter were the only ones ballsy enough to really do their own thing.

  • I first thought Gene's was gonna be this huge evil empire record. So much for that.

  • Yeah, Gene's rendition of When You Wish Upon a Star probably ranks right up there with finding out that there was no such thing as Santa Claus.

  • ace's version is better than the foo fighters but theres is pretty good

  • Space Ace i still woking on his solo album as of now.

  • I heard Paul's album kinda sucked, but Ace's was definitely the best.

  • Ace rules! Fun!

  • At Buddyboy55:

Paul Stanley's solo album pwned aswell.

  • this is the song i listen to most on my ipod

  • what an album!!

  • actually Ozone is a slang name for PCP so maybe thats why he wrote this song. (causes he was usin' pcp)

  • wat dose pcp stand for?

  • It's a kind of drug

    ummm phencyclidine i think

i did a report on it for school XD

  • I know that the song "Rock Soldiers" that Ace released during his solo career was inspired by his wreck on the Bronx River Parkway in 1982, and "Shock Me" was inspired from the Lakeland, Florida Concert in December of 1977, but somehow this song seems to add a whole new dimension of character to his near-death experiences. He was in the Ozone somewhere when they happened..

    LOVE YOU, ACE!!!!!

  • If only Ace had come out of his shell sooner! With this album he really gave Gene and Paul a run for their money! They expected Ace to deliver a crap record but he "shocked" them by recording the best of the four!

  • This WAS easily the best of the four solo albums. Then IMHO 2nd)Gene, 3rd)Paul & last but by no means least 4th)Peter.

  • you said it!, Ace is the shit! (in a good way)

  • was this KISS or Ace Frehley solo?, p.s Foo Fighters cover is good!

  • Its on Aces solo album JD!!

  • Love the Foos cover! I have it on an import of Big Me.

  • lucky!, the copy of "Big Me" that i bought just had the BBC Evening Sessions on it of "Alone + Easy Target", "Floaty" &

    "Gas Chamber"

  • I have that one as well. The Foo Fighters always include great B-sides and rarities on their singles.

  • a great album from space capton !!

    AMEN

  • i wanna see the foo fighters cover this. Ace rules!

  • great, ace the space!!!

  • Are you serious?

This is the busiest year for him.

    On tour soon!

  • Ace from space...you rule. But where are you now?

  • he just jammed with pearl jam at madison square garden. they did "black diamond" with matt cameron singing. it was cool!

  • Did you know the Foo Fighters covered this song. It is a b-side to their song I'll Stick Around single.

  • no way?? where can I see it??

  • @panther2202 yes i see the cover of foo fighters is great !!! you can see it on you tube i think i got the compilation

  • Actually it's on the rare import EP of "Big Me", which I own.

  • In 1978 through the 80's I would play this constantly.

It is still a classic rock album.

Dynasty,Unmasked, both had great Ace songs as well.

I read in an interview that there is a song called ''Rocking with the Boys'' that Ace was supposed to stick on Creatures of the Night''. That was back in 1982.

  • Ace had the best KISS solo album from 1978!!!!!!!!

  • I think it´s a great song !

    Ace and KISS rocks !!!!

  • great guitar work...aces peak in my opinion...yep !

  • juicy kiss... mmmmmmm......yeah!

  • space man rocks.

  • fucking awesome, frehley rocks

  • yeah there is, like you could here the guitar better.

  • isn't there another version?

  • Oh I don't know! Is there?

  • foo fighters covered this song....they of course left out the middle solo

  • @lumal003 yeah you mean the foo fighters cover which sounds just like Ace O_o

  • @lumal003 He did a version with Frehley's Comet, I think. He DID do several versions of Fractured Mirror.

  • nice!!

  • thats a great song. cool.

  • Thanks!

  • That's cool

  • Thanks!

  • Damn i loved KISS!!! You have good taste in music my friend. I love this older stuff! It rocks major ass!!!

  • Hahahahhaha lol Thanks ya drumfool!!!!!
