I had a Game Boy, GBC, GBA, Lynx, and a Game Gear. I like portable games. I was never able to get a DS or PSP, however. I got sick and that sapped all my (admittedly limited) resources for a long time. I'm still pulling myself out 6 years later. But now I'm trying to find a way to get a 3DS. I'm amazed by the hardware and I WANT THAT CONSOLE! I think I may get a used PSPgo as well at some point if I can't find a relatively cheap Vita. I will find a way to make this happen. Mark my words.

Educational games are the worst ideas in gaming but Nintedo put out good game on ds even if its a bit loose on education.

@pippo17173 I highly disagree, I think the possibilities for learning are tremendous... of course one might not consider them true "games". I can imagine learning languages, math, physics, or music theory to be really translatable on a gaming platform, I just don't think it's been done correctly yet. Honestly I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this as a medium for learning.

@pippo17173 Yes, and no, these games were released long ago, mostly for elementary schools.
