  • I'm an IP (Igorot) who sucumbed to the economic pressures and pain of leaving my family and nativeland to be an OFW. Now, i'm one of those multitudes of workers displaced by global recession... the IPs are scattered here, and everywhere...

Long live, IP youths! You are the hope of our remaining tribeland!

  • Thanks for your comments. I understand. Yes. Many indigenous peoples have been displaced from their ancestral lands. Long live the struggles of the indigenous peoples!

  • The IPs were continually displaced from their lands many times over - our ancestors grabbed of their lands by the colonizers; further displaced by their hispanized 'siblings'; their descendants compromised by some IP politicians and the national governments made them 'squatters in their own land'; others were driven overseas by virtue of the 'labor export policy of the administration...

  • Yeah, indigenous peoples experience multiple colonization and neocolonization.

  • Long live indigenous peoples who struggle amidst all the problems confronting you.

  • Hail to these young IPs and Rey Ty! Thanks for sharing this great endeavor to bring about a change in the marginalization of your people... May your tribes increase!!!
