If you look at the left middle you can see Cumbernauld primary school and the back of all the houses in village. I take it the picture would have been taken from the hill which is leads up the kildrum/seafar.

I have traced my family history back to the 1600s from the present day in Cumbernauld Village so the old pictures are wonderful to see as its often forgotten that Cumbernauld existed long before the Glasgow overspill !! Well Done
