If he made it obvious & blatant then it would simply be a typical parody that we've seen just too many times.. THIS is much more brilliant cuz its NOT obvious, its subtle mockery.. it takes guts and playfulness and skill to develop an act like this.. a talented comedian playing a hack and staying the hack, and not once revealing its an act.
