  • Theres no attack

  • YOU FOOL!!!!

  • YOU HAVE BALLS!!

  • how sensible educated and intelligent these men look yet they are some of the most arrgant people on earth

  • hmm, i probably would have rather him sacrificed his life so i can enjoy a nice video on YouTube.

  • that was fuckin lame

  • NAPOLEON....DINNER IS READY!

  • nothing was wrong except the guys with the sticks

  • ok i dont think humans could get any stupider

  • @solitairelover

can't u see the difference between straight steel bars of camera tripod at 3.43 and the wood sticks in 3.35. And further since 3.38 to 3.41 they record a video of the camera or light equipment in a very professional angle instead of focusing the camera on lions. that's the biggest funny thing. at the attack moment also they have recorded it in various angles so there must be more cameras. its a lame not understanding the fact that this is a edited video

  • The only thing the title of this vid is missing is 'graphic'

  • The other lion just acted normally. Because it thought that the men were doing something bad with his mate or partner.

  • i want a lion :(

  • the reason was that he farted

  • let these animals go back home where they belong you piss heads

  • @MissCedarbridge1 they are home. the reserve in the video is in africa. and most of the lions that he has have had or have something wrong with them. so they cant go back into the wild. they are gonna live as happy live they will ever get in this reserve rather than in the wild ...

  • @KaneBadman1994 what a load of crap and you expect me to believe that bull LOL

  • the lions are not even interest in him. they was just running from the sticks. Im suprise to see this with a BBC name on it. Shame on BBC

Tv shows are getting to animal world too by this means.

  • These people are crazy.

  • im not saying that lions act out hunt and kill...but i cant understand what the F are u guys doing inside their cage,,,u probably are americans...the most stupid people in the universe. well..not all of u....but 80% without dought.

  • @curpansat2007 "u are probably americans, the most stupid people in the universe...80% without a doubt" that is one hell of a funny comment when you realise that the 2 men in this video are South African and English respectively... I don't know where you're from but it would appear that "Americans" have some competition.

  • @curpansat2007 unfortunately you are correct. poor corporate owned media-brainwashed americans. nothing but diseased cattle/ consumers sacrificing everything they had that was good, especially happiness & health, for their endless growth "economics". all quantity and no more quality

  • misleading title but awesome video

  • aww they really love him <3

  • i wonder if people know in a fight that mane helps with attackers like lots of fighting dogs have dense thick fur cause i swear i never hear this brought up i mean its gotta be there or else it wouldnt be just around the neck

  • Balls of steel man, respect.

  • HE IS NOT ATTACKED ByA LION....

    SHIT!

  • at 3:37 someone attacking the lion with stick just to pretend this video as a lions attack. but actually this is a human attack on lion

  • @tosendprashan yeah you are absoluttly right you can see it better in 3:35 !!!! 2 sticks are mooving at the left !!!

  • @tosendprashan They were trying to prevent the lions from attacking. The sticks were acting as barriers between the Steve and the lions.

  • @tosendprashan no one would be stupid enough to go after a lion with a stick... the camera men probably saw the lion running and used the sticks to act as a barrier to get the 2 men out...

  • @tosendprashan Good catch man!

  • where is the attach you son of bitc h???

  • where is the attach you son of bitch???

  • lol, like how everyone thinks they are lion experts here.... i THINK ( not know ) the lions shown they didn't want him there, the guy said that the lion was wafting it's tale cos it was irritated, it was also growling so it's clear the lions didn't want him there, lions hunt to survive, only time they kill other animals is to get rid of any competition, territorial and provoked.

  • Those aren't female lions for the guy that said SHE

  • This guy is a fucking noob. When a lion starts marking the floor like that it's NOT good. That's what they do before they kill hyenas or any rivals.

  • guy looks like Charlie Sheen

  • At least they were smart, if the guy started running like a bitch giving the back, he could be history.

  • i noticed they never showed the reporter's pants front! i bet a thousand it was wet!

  • So edited...weak. Just like the BBC to make crap- has anyone seen "The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas"? I'm sorry but Brits do not make good Nazi's... lol

  • The last scene was fake. When they said that something was wrong and the lions got crazy bla bla... No lions in the last scenes just 2 guys and a cameraman running :P

  • thats shit its called Attacked by a lion! so i wanted to see some dick get fucked up by a lion not some pussy pissin their pants fuck that i was expecting to see the power of one of those beasts unleashed on some unsuspecting dick so fuck you that was a wast of time

  • @discomaster56v so ur fucken parent's let u fucken stay up this fucken late to post ur shitty drivel u fuckity fuck?

  • @discomaster56 hahahahahahaha, i agree 100%

  • BBC how did you predict the collapse of WTC7, 20 minutes before it actually fell?

a few million people around the earth want to know?!

  • THAT POOR MAJESTIC LION! It looked far too young to die!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MURDERING BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i would piss and shit in my pants if i would be in this "cage" with hose lions

  • i would take a gun ...... just in case....

  • @10400274 don't you know small and fast operable guns don't suffice in case of lions and you won't get time to even raise a big one.

  • What if a juicy Ribeye Steak walked into my house and started petting me, I wonder what I would do?

  • @ 3:36, were they intentionally trying to startle the lions with the stick?

  • When a lion see a stranger lion they treat them the same as a stranger human - uncertainty, challenge, etc. They rarely go for the kill.

How come most beast hate how humans taste? Are we not natural?

  • @fleshtheworld They don't "hate" how we taste, but we are 150-200 pounds of alot of skin, and bone, and not much meat. That is a HUGE reason why Humans survive so many shark, lion, or any other predatory attack. Once these animals have us, they realize that this is all skin and bones, and usually release us.

  • cant tigers beat lions in fights? i was surprised when i heard that but i guess all the science and stats say so

  • @Shift4chizzle

The zebra is smart enough to know to stay away from the Lion, and the Lion is smart enough to know it could win the fight against the zebra and that the zebra is a good animal to hunt because of this and a few other reasons.

The only animals that DON'T know about the food chain are insects and other very basic animals, who in turn die by the millions every day

  • @IronVampire they do not stay away from them because they want to maintain the foodchain lol, they stay away from them cos they are scared of them and do not want to die lol

  • @IronVampire im not saying that they do not know that some animals are higher than them and some are lower i am saying they do not map out everything they just live their lives by instincts. they do not just say "oh i musnt go near a lion today to maintain the food chain"

  • @Shift4chizzle

Of course animals don't do what they do to maintain the food chain. There is a very clear difference between understanding the food chain and trying to maintain it, and staying away from a lion would be for the opposite reason then trying to maintain it.

You ever think there is a reason why they stay away from that lion? Simply knowing that they understand some animals are higher and some are lower says they understand the food chain.

  • @Shift4chizzle

Also believe it or not, very few animals act out of pure instinct. That is pretty much reserved for Insects alone.

Animals, whether you want to believe it or not, are quite smart. In fact, there are apes replicating the intelligence of early humans. Simply knowing "These animals will kill me and I can kill these animals" means that you understand what the food chain is.

  • @IronVampire i know that some animals do not act out of instinct, but like the zebra runs from the lion because they do not want to die, we were smart enough to colonize the earth and we know everything about almost every animal (the ones we have found) and we use intelligence to make weapons that can be used for far range, the other animals, all they can do is run some can fight back but the others run, not because oh we will become extinct if i dont run, the humans are making animals extict

  • @IronVampire so really we are the ones who are breaking the food chain because we know so much about it

  • @Shift4chizzle

I'm not saying they'll automatically know that all their family and relatives will die, but it's gotten to the point where animals understand that humans are deadly. We weren't always civilized you know? Kill a human and we'd end up burning a forest down to get revenge.

Point is, Humans have a tenancy for revenge. It's one of our instincts that we haven't, and may never, grow out of. After a while animals have started to notice that even a dead human can bring forth death.

  • @IronVampire yeah, that is true animals have known that humans are deadly becasue when we were first on this planet and we used ot kill mammoths, the mammoths welcomed us because they ahve never seen us before, but then we killed them and as years have passed, parents telling children not to run around far and stuff cos of humans they witnessed us and realized we are dangerous. but we were arguing or debating whether or not they understand the food chain

  • @Shift4chizzle

Also it is impossible to break the food chain. The food chain changes, but is never broken. Humans have just settled in as the world-round apex predator.

  • @IronVampire no the food chain is the "data base" of what keeps the earth and its environment controlled, and by us making one species extinc, that extinct species prey would grow rapidly, in turn they would be more dependent on their prey and that prey will die then they will die cos they have nothing to eat, so when one thing become extinct, the whole thing will get ruined

  • @Shift4chizzle i don't reckon if lions know ecology

  • @IronVampire btw i like how we are keeping this civilized, lets keep it that way

  • ops! lion prank. hahaha

  • you never know about lion. they sence energy and can easily attack if one is fearfull, and their nature is hunting anyway

  • bullshit made up ... in the end.. the lions were provoked intentionally with a stick

  • lions can smell fear, just like with a dog... if your scared then your communicating to the animal that your either food or an enemy, either way animals can smell/feel/sense your fear and you obviously should not be in their presence... because there must me something wrong with you...human

  • Where's the attack? I demand to see an attack! Misleading title. NO ATTACK (but a cool vid).

  • HOLLY SHIT!!!!!

I WOULD NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER WOULD GET THAT CLOSE TO A LION!!!

ONE BITE AND YOU ARE DEAD.

  • We have 2 lions at our sanctuary, and they do stuff like that all the time, the lion wasn't going to attack anyone. It was just being, well, a lion.

  • I notice, the camera didn't show him below the waistline. I imagine it was high time to "shake the britches out". LOL

  • Shit.

  • @LadyLillianContessa Yea, they can actually sense the magnetic field (I think) and I'm almost certain that they can sense fear (just from experience).

  • My God I absolutely adore animals (Tigers/big cats the most) and I would never have the guts to go in there! I wish I would man, they look so cuddly and cute! Damn that guy is lucky, to be able to not fear them and actually do what he's doing.

  • Those lions are beautiful but never get too comfortable petting them like that. You never know when they'll go lion on ya.

  • lol

  • i wouldnt go in a lions den, nowayyyyyy, they would sense my fear a mile off hahaahaahaahah

  • Why is this Steve guy beating up the lion?

  • there was no obvious sign of danger, they never got them all in one shot, it was just cuts......

  • I admire his bravery going in there, but maybe he should have taken some 'lion training' first :p

  • Pffft, I could take them in a fight.

  • europeans are such pussies

  • @codied93

yeah right, what would you do tough american? stay there and fight?

  • @StrangeDeimos lol I'm american and I hate the ppl who make us look bad. They are all over youtube as racist, nation hating bigots. Don't be fooled by their stupidity. We aren't all that way :)

  • @codied93 and you would go in a lions den with no fear what so ever???? dont make me laugh

  • scared shitless yes...the shit would have been in my pants...while I am watching them cause there aint no way IN HELL i am going in a lion's den

  • those lions are in extasy hahaha plus

  • I would expect this kind of misleading text from a 13 year old youtuber but BBC!? C'mon! That hurts your reputation with me in a big way!

  • fuck u all bitches!!!!

  • It's not a "amazing clip".

  • I think what we missed off camera was that second lion, he was bout to get ole dude from the back.

  • the lions couldn't have put it clearer if they had said, "THAT'S ENOUGH, BITCHES!"

  • give it a bit of a wheck!, never turn ur BECK on him, love the accent

  • fucking scary

  • stupid ass guy keeps tapping it lmfao

  • that wasnt an attack

  • if i punch that thing in the teeth, i could have a hole in my hand, i am not fighting that thing

  • I agree with the other comment, the lion sensed the other guys uncomfortability. He is kind of stupid for always tapping the lion like that he did it twice too. Lions like to be touched but not that way, it is so awkward. But something definitely freaked the lion out they didn;t show it what though.

  • All you people who say the Lions where acting out of a "hunt and kill" instinct are bloody retarded.

If that Lion was set on "Hunt and Kill" Steve would have never left the cage alive. Lions are very careful around humans, they understand our place in the food chain and understand that trying to kill us for food would only result in most of them dying.

He was going on instinct, not to hunt or kill, but to warn the unknown human to leave because the lion was afraid he might pose a threat.

  • @IronVampire no they just dont know, they are not retards if they dont know something

  • @IronVampire and animals are not that smart, they do not know about the food chain, they just kill when hungry or if they know that person is the person who provides the food then they would just act vicious but not kill him

  • @Shift4chizzle

Which is why it's very well-known that bears will try to avoid humans if at all possible?

If animals don't have knowledge of the food chain, they will die quickly. There is actually a reason that cats will try to attack a mouse, but will frequently run from dogs, you know.

You know what happened last time Humans thought an animal was hunting them for food? We nearly drove the entire race extinct and it is STILL endangered to this day.

  • @IronVampire no they do not know about the food chain, it just comes naturally, the humans-since they have knowledge- have the power to destroy it as we almost have, the more knowledge something has the more things can go wrong

  • @IronVampire Haha funny guy.

  • @IronVampire you people piss me off with your predictions about what the lion is thinking, and what it was going to do, sittin here tring to comfort youselfs. If you cant see that they have no problem with killing a human by now then you people are a bunch of fucking idots. the lion was marking its territory from the begining, it will only give so many warnings before it attacks you fucken blood sucker.

  • @jus1me9n8my6glock

You must really think Lions are something stupid.

If it was "marking it's territory" then these humans wouldn't even be allowed to get inside the cage. Let's look at the lions point of view now, shall we? I understand that lions don't have human intelligence, but do understand that they didn't get to be an apex predator by a poor understanding of their surroundings.

  • @IronVampire It is marking its territory what do you think its doing, its showing the people its his territory.

  • @jus1me9n8my6glock

So you've lived a lot of your life in a cage, surrounded entirely by humans. These humans are the only things giving you food and water. Just think for a second, why the hell would you try to KILL one of these humans, unless you thought that maybe they might kill you?

A lot of people seem to get the misunderstanding that humans don't look so threatening. That's because we're HUMANS. Humans naturally are not afraid of fellow humans. Animals, however, are.

  • @IronVampire Id kill them or just fuck them up, if i was marking my territory and they still stayed, yea id mock charge ect.

  • @jus1me9n8my6glock

Now sure, there is the rare occasion that an animal may attack a human. This is caused by one of three things.

1: The human was getting to close to the animal, and the animal mistook the human for someone looking for food, and attacked to save it's own life.

2: The human got close to an animals offspring, provoking an instant attack in fear of the offspring being killed.

3: The animal was very, very hungry and had no second option.

  • @IronVampire 4. The human is in their territory, the human was new to the lion and didnt want him in the cage

  • @jus1me9n8my6glock

Which would perfectly explain why they weren't actually making any warning sounds to begin with. When they feel something in encroaching on their territory, they like to make their new threat tea before attacking and what not, sophisticated lions here.

Which also explains why it started making some serious warning signs once it saw two humans crouched over it's lion friend who happened to be lying on the ground in front of it.

  • @jus1me9n8my6glock

Now uh, if you think that humans aren't scary to other animals, remember these three following words.

    We. Scare. Bears.

  • lol awesome i <3 lions

  • I believe that the problem was that Steve didn´t feel very well being inside ... Once he felt threatened and like a potential victim, the lion could feel it as well and has started to behave like a predator - which indeed it is .. Animals can feel nervosity of people which is the main problem.

  • both of them are complete idiots. the handler for letting him in. and him for going.

  • hahaha i was looking for it too!

  • thats what i want to do when i get older....i actually want to interact with them

  • dude your insane you have just met the lions and your getting in there cage are you kidding do you want to get killed

  • Although the sadist in me wanted to see some action, the animal lover in me was glad it didn't turn into an actual attack, otherwise they would have had to put the attacking lion down.

  • im pretty sure thats not an attack

  • What do you expect? The new guy kept slapping the lion. I'd attack too. That was disappointing though. I wanted to see some blood spill.

  • that's what those dumbasses get for thinking lions are here for our curious entertainment. Oooh let me get close to the lion so I can touch it! Of course the lion is most likely to attack, duh!

  • Hehe.

  • And sometimes, we kill people for food because a plane crashed and they're the only thing there to eat.

  • my house cat is nearly wild. not as in stray but as in his breed is still part wild. it appears he gives off some of the same signals as these lions do. I guess im just good at reading cat bodylanguage lol

  • the newbie was kind of hitting him Hard... no?

  • Jesus, to know that the lion can easily kill you in a matter of seconds in there is terrifying. I don't think I could do it.

  • 01:45

Did the lion just finish a shit?

  • i dont get it y ppl always try to make them theirn pets they will always be lions no matter wat...they will always eat meat and think like a lion...

  • What the fuck!?! Why does he "pat" it like that?!? He's basically slapping the damn thing. No wonder it goes nuts.

  • Dude. It's a lion. I pet my dog like that, and he still likes it.

  • Just seemed like the lion tamer was patting it a bit more carefully .. Just sayin - if this lion is seriously considering an attack, then literally rubbing it the wrong way might be enough to make up it's mind.

  • Whenever i see a video of a lion, its not the same as real life! It will never be! These animals are huge and very strong i dont see myself ever touching them.

  • i love lions! they are beautiful but you would not catch me dead in a cage like that with even one of them! although if i was dumb enough to go in you might find me dead in one! but i dont think i would die of them killing me! i would die of the fear of them killing me! they are beautiful but deadly creatures! i got the chills just watching this video!

  • "what else is a lion good for" well im not that sure, but if i know something, its that every animal on earth was put on in earth for a reason...if not, they wouldnt be in earth? every animal is good for something, animals help the earth, while people are hunting them for fun, thats fked up. Besides, if you were a lion or any other animal, you wouldn't like humans going after you and kill you right? hunting is the dumbest thing ever.I understand if its for survival, but for fun?Thats just wrong.

  • theyre good for hunting

  • No, I wouldn't like them coming after me. But then again, animals have no souls. They don't care about what we think, or what they think. They don't know what will happen if they get shot with a gun, and they don't know that they're going to die. They don't know what death is, therefore, I see nothing wrong with killing them for fun. And about the "What is a lion good for?", I'd say really just fun. They're probably good eats, too. They're fun to watch. But that's not a reason not to kill them.

  • I'm not really sure what lions are good for, but I'm certain they are in the world for a reason, perhaps just to scare us "humanimals" to respect nature :D and also, dude, animals know what death is, thats why the preys run when they see lions or other predators, they have a soul, they communicate, reproduce, socialize.

When humans get hurt, they shout so does animals, you wouldn't hurt a mute because he can't tell you how much it hurts, I wouldn't hurt an animal for exactly the same reason !

  • Really, animals don't know what death is. They know that the predator will hurt them, but they don't know what will happen once they do hurt them. And, no, they don't have souls. They communicate, reproduce, and socialize (which I don't think they really do..), because that's their instinct. If humans had no souls, we'd be just like them. Running around, killing what you can for food, screwing other people for no reason.

  • the mere fact that he knows that he needs to eat to live, feels the pain and has instincts as you say they do, proves that he has soul dude ... other wise it would be like a robot or something init :)

  • it has a conscious/soul yeah...

but it does not have the spirit of God to that it may live after it dies.

We humans do, so we live after we die in the flesh.

  • I wouldn't say so. They do what they do through instinct. They kill, hunt. Dogs bury bones. All due to instinct. And instinct isn't soul. We eat, sleep, crap, all like they do. But we also get jobs, communicate. We don't kill other people for food, like they do.

  • we do kill other people for food.

    lol.

we have wars for resources all the time.

  • GAY

  • you sure are.

  • Only around Christmas & New Years!

  • LOL!

  • No, that just proves that they're alive. Like I said before, if we had no soul, we'd be like them. Just look at all the talking animal movies like lion king or w/e. That's what they'd be like if they did have souls.

  • lions are there to eat the gazelles and shit. simple.

  • Just watching this made me sweaty... whew.

  • I love that guy! he''s so good with his lions but, yeah, the only reason the reporter wasn't attacked was because of Kevin Richardson.

  • u guys need to shut the hell up

  • I take Prozac and I have an uncle who can also go from little girl to psycho-path in less than a second.

  • I'd like to pet a lion, got that has to be one of the most awesome thing a human being can ever experience. Im so jealous.

  • I was scared just watching. That man has some serious balls to go in there.

  • not for a million dollars....

  • totally edited for drama . morons

  • true dat

  • OK now let's do this again but instead of going in after they've eaten half a cow each lets leave 'em without food for a week and then try it.

  • So true, I hate it when people favor animals over human.
