  • TOO bad OBAMA is a "christian". Come on, let's bash Obama. Anyone with me?

  • Obama is a Christian, but he's not a Fundamentalist Christian. Huge difference.

  • But aren't we against christians? I'm scared of muslims, cause they have a radical terror sect and christians don't. But Hicks is a fundamentalist atheist in this sense that he only picks on christians non-persecutive religions.

  • megaKIOSK: Who is the "we" against Christians?

I'm not afraid of Muslims in general, just their radical terror sects. Those groups exist within Christianity too, they're just not as well organized. Give some members of the GOP free-reign and we'll see them become very organized very soon.

  • "We" as in liberal, athiest, non-conformist, relative moralist, go-green anti-religion folks..

  • Christians don't have a radical terrorist sect? Really?

  • Anyone wanna name me a radical Christian terrorist sect? One that has operated mass casualties lately?

  • @MegaKIOSK

    The bush administration.

  • lol. Only for a 911 truth'er as yourself. When conspiracy runs your life, you yourself are just a conspiracy.

  • @MegaKIOSK

Haha....... please don't call me a conspiracy theorist. I DO NOT believe Bush was behind 9/11. That would be ridiculous.

  • @MegaKIOSK

When those in power kill they are called heroes.

When those not in power kill, they are called terrorists.

  • @DocUnsane and when they kill, spew hatred, and are tax exempt by the government, we call them religions

  • the united states of america

  • ever hear of the Catholic church. The Pope instigated the Crusades, The Inquisition, not to mention the witch hunts. That seems pretty radical to me.

And compared to the entirety of human history, 800 years ago was pretty recent.

  • @TheHomelessCripple . No shit, but atheism itself is such a redundant position morals are just relative opinions. It's survival of the fittest, so if i like on girl who just happens to be a mating partner, i'll fuck her guy over, because that's the natural process of evolutionary thought.

  • @MegaKIOSK

What does that have to do with the Catholic CHurch being a radical terrorist sect of Christianity?

  • No, see we are animals, but we also have "evolved" rational thought, thinking, and a society. In this society, it's considered a mores to sabotage a relationship. Atheists still have morals, you don't need to be scared of going to hell to do the right thing, you can just do it because it's right.

  • @notian1989 Just exactly what is right from wrong? Are morals of a society just a consensus? Do we have to vote to find out what is right from wrong or is there a higher moral law that we should appeal to? Who ever said that protecting the human species was important in the first place? I'm an atheist, but i find myself to be trumped by questions as such.

  • @MegaKIOSK Pretty much, they are a consensus of what people believe to be right or wrong. They are passed down, I have my personal morals that I learned from my parents and just observing others Christians and non-alike. But I don't think that I need any sort of religion or "higher power" to tell you what is wright, I really do think that's a conscious decision one can make on their own.

  • @notian1989

I am not a religieus person,i hate religion, but i think that people need to realize that there is a spiritual side in the human mind present, and im talking about a gland in the brain, the pineal gland. This is studied by psychologists, docters and has been linked to NDE's.I'd like your opinion on that:)

  • @hilbertdepilbert I don't really know as much on the pineal gland as I'd like to, but I don't think that it has anything to do with religion. I do know that we have evolved the ability to even be able to understand the concept of god, which I think is quite fascinating.

  • @notian1989

It has something to do with religion, and that is that the big religions, that are like politics, are trying to influence the people in that they have no ohter choice then to turn there spirituality in to a invisible god. When in fact the pineal gland is they key to spiritual(not religious)world. The individual person, not a group of worshippers.I have some interesting articles on the pineal gland.Send me a YT mail if you're interested,or anyone who is reading this who is interested:)

  • @TheHomelessCripple The Protestants burned their share of witches too......most notable amongst Protestant witch hunters were the Calvinists & Puritans.....
